they are rediculous, i wonder if the devs will ever see this.
their reload needs to be increaed by ~2 seconds. devs should play some games with modified t17s and see if this works.

Anyway, in R+ a lot of gimmicky starts are possible that can only be countered by a few things. You could do the same thing with 3 fully upgraded M8s. The only strength these builds have is their surprise element, once you know its coming you can completely nullify it.
Best solutions in R+
Start safe, start with a p4 + shrek + mg + mortar or something along those lines
Start with a bike or any other way of finding out what the enemy is bringing before you bring your stuff, this allows you to bring the perfect counter. (Does he start AT heavy, don't bring any vehicles and overwhelm him with infantry, etc)
This replay doesn't really proof T17s are overpowered per sé.
That being said, T17s are still not done being looked at, we probably will be addressing them further

We were listening, but the 30secs threw us off xD
But perhaps the problem is R+ mode? I fucking told them in the launcher to change to ME ><
The real problem is that having sufficient AT to kill the t17s before they kill all yourself is impossible.

You could do the same start in any mode and it would work tbh. The only difference R mode makes is that you don't have to wait for your teammates

I mean the thing that is most ridiculous is I started with what should be a hard counter - an upgun puma and a pak. Should easily win. But they killed EVERYTHING so quickly there is nothing you can do.

Posted this before, but T17s could use a sandbag upgrade increase to 100m, and a 15f price increase to 100 f total.

Well, R+ mode is very prone to gimmicky stuff. But if you think about it, any game mode aside from perhaps meeting engagement lends itself to 'cheesy' starts.
There was a time in EIRR history where it was common to start with a jeep or bike to find out what your opponent was bringing, the metagame shifted again because when both players bring in a recon unit it's back to square 1 in terms of knowing what your opponent is bringing :p.
Anyway, golden rule for R+ is play it smart or play it safe.
2 pieces of AT, one ATG and an infantry based is NOT a safe start for R+.
