I found it funny how he talked about the axis ingenious tactics. It really didnt feel like we were doing any of the advanced strategy things he was talking about... but it did sound very good all that stuff about allies being isolated, I guess we did a good job of it.

Was a very good shoutcast, watched it for the 1st time just now.

I would love to know what the allies could do to counter all that arty fire.

Question still stands. If you had been playing allies in that game, what would you have done differently?

Learn the 5 D's of Dodging Arty - Dodge, dirty micro, differing paths, moving out of the fucking fire and dodge.

im over seeing o4b's OP pershings! lol

Only half of what they used to be Sad

i'd say there were two lol moments, the last stand of the backcapper g43s on the left and the IST's raping the cromwell..

also a lot of fail from bayarea's fireflies, he didnt seem to know what to do with them

1 of the reasons that the Pershings did so well was because SE doesn't have a lot of hard AT options

We thought the backcapping was great because you always did it when the pershing blob was on the opposite side of the map. As if you knew where it was the entire time. Always hitting where the allied line was the weakest or vacant.

Almost as if it was planned. Smiley

But:
A: It was a "bit" onesided
B: The Persh makes anyone look pro

I too liked how you tried to analyze what the axis were thinking. Especially the Smokaz analysis about having a field day (or to that effect) and "this is too easy" (capping) etc Smiley

The company composition of the axis players looked very deliberate I must say

Mmm Lai, that kind of commentary is more interesting for the small group of diehards than it is for the general public. I prefer ofc the internal shoutcasting cause I find it more interesting than the showhow type of commentary, so I guess thats the purpose of these shoutcasts. That makes them very welcome to me at least.

I thought o4b did well with his pershings, he usually does. It's more than OBM and field repairs being powerful, you have to be good with the unit to kill that much with it, even if the enemy is underfielding AT or their AT proves ineffective. It *helps* that you can have 4ish lives on a single pershing if you want, but it's not the bottom line of its effectiveness.

With the FR change a Pershing OBM player will overall restore more health to his Pershing, but also be forced to play more conservatively when he's actually low health with his tank since he isn't capable of rapidly restoring health anymore while fighting.

As for the company's of the PE players (I guess those are the ones you are thinking about) its more deliberate because of the narrow SE doctrine than anything else and having similar unlocks. In the end the axis companies barely had AT and it was the humongous fail of the allies to not figure this out earlier Tongue

No I'm just trying to make o4b believe its him being good Tongue

I've tested AP and HE Pershings this war, neither of them were very good in my hands. ((HE for pershings is basically bugged atm and makes it worse than it normally is))

But not OBM, so it doesnt count as me sucking cause it might be OBM thats the secret to this massive pershing performance.

Nice shoutcast, but the game wasn't too great. I'd be up to do some shoutcasting if you ever need another guy. Grin
We should get bridger and Vittensbee to come back and do some shouts for us. EiRR's popularity would soar!

Smokaz used to get really mad when I killed his panthers back when no one used them. He has two modifiers when it comes to heavy tanks.

OBM does nothing to increase the damage output of one's pershing, so if we can do a lot more damage with our heavy tanks in a single (or double, everyone gets 1 repair kit) life than you only have yourself to blame mister!

I tried explaining that to him in the patch notes thread, but he refuses to listen.
