i think the reason it has the bug is because they gave it a crew thats retreatable?

Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.

The only way to fix it is to give the crew the usual cooldown when the anti tank gun is deployed. Meaning that if you move your atg forward and have to stop it for a immidiate shot it won't take the shot because of the cooldown

the only true way of fixing it is by adding wind-up to the at gun, while removing reload.
And we all know how awesome wind-up is.

Why does it need to be fixed anyway? I haven't see anybody do it in a while now, and when they did it, it was usually followed by a "sorry was a mistake" and isn't done again once in the whole game... or am I not understanding something here?

Ah, the accusations fly around whenever someone switches tank targets.
Some legit, most by accident.
It needs a fix so that people arent put on the pyre and burnt at the stake lol

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.
That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

make the hold fire button a lockdown button and that it can'T fire until lockdown and that it can't move when locked down
similar like the pak cloak change

Uhhh.. I don't believe we could do that - it would likely look stupid. Though gamesguy has proven to be one hell of a coder - may be he could do that. I don't think we can change the actual halt command.. Pretty sure that's hardcoded in the game. I honestly don't think a fix is as needed as it's portrayed to be - people know it's an offense and generally refrain from using it. Alternatively, we could make it a legitimate trick, just like firing weapons through tree groves.

How about I just change 57mm reload to the same as the pak? Uhhh.. I don't believe we could do that - it would likely look stupid. Though gamesguy has proven to be one hell of a coder - may be he could do that.

It's an easy fix, but it would be a definate nerf to the 57mm as you wouldn't be able to rotate or move as fast after firing. Might have to up the 57mm's rotation speed or something to compensate.
