Thats just poor decision making. the whole strength to infantry AT is that you can get close attack and then get of of the line fo return fire. The whole reason tanks are vulnerable in built up areas in real life(and CoH) is that Infantry AT can effectively engage them without taking much in the way of return fire. yes, i will bet. it has to fight squads that are much larger. wehr inf get stacked much easier coz of lower numbers. this makes an allied gun with same scatter as axis gun plain better. |

If anything, higher squad size means a more claustrophobic enviroment for the squad, with more men lost per shot, and more chance to get hit by a stray shot. lol that will not work to kill a squad in one hit I've killed a full health ranger squad in one shot with a StuG mate - I'm pretty sure a P4 could do the exact same if the men are BUNCHED UP ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. Also - nowhere has anyone mentioned entire squads getting insta-raped by a single sherman shot. that is the funny thing people think PIV are really great when they kill 15-20 people but sherman has to kill just 10-13 for same result squad wise...not mention that granadiers are more expensive then riflemen What if the wehr guy is using exclusively volks and there are only brits on the opposing side, and they're using only tommies as their inf? |

The killing in one shot wasn't even the point of my post, anyway - so try again. then he is stupid and will probably get zero kills on his PIV Theorycraft and ad hominem towards all people utilising volks - in other words, a non-argument. I for one prefer volks, and so do a lot of other people - they're all far from stupid and generally yield good results with their tanks. 1. we have no shermans in that game We have cromwells. Faster ROF, better splash than shermans. 2. the PIVs will get buttoned and taken out by some crap like firefly at guns ... Theory craft + irrelevant. Cromwells and shermans will get quad-shrekked by storms and finished off by a pak in an ambush, getting zero kills too. We can turn this shit around all day - it's pointless and against the guidelines of the forum. 3. and/or the PIV will get boomrushed by bangbusses killing nothing while taken out and buttoned from inside Theorycraft + irrelevant.
