instead of the extra recourses people can buy now,

you get some scroll bars where you can exchange fuel for muni, fuel for mp, muni for fuel, mp for ammo, etc etc.

moving the bar, changes the balance between the two.

once you're a high enough level, you can upgrade and move the bar further from the middle

this system will make sure new players wont fight battalions double the size of their own, but still allows high level accs to specialize.

at lower levels, you can exchange some manpower to get that last 20 fuel you need for a 2nd P4.

you can also try different kinds of tactics, some of them might require a bit more ammo. not a prob!

Damn this idea is so good that I couldn't ressit to post.

I was thinking about that before, and it would be awesome to be able run just inft company all fuel into munis and mp (this has advantage and disadvantages so it wont be hard to balance).

Just make balanced resource exchange system and it will be fine.

I think this will just promote more gimmicky companies. But, I could be wrong.

the supply system will make sure you cant spam units. only thing you could expect is a lot of fully equiped infantry.

but that would mean less mp and less fuel, so would that actually be a good tactic?

and ofcourse you wont be able to exchange ALL your fuel for muni... more like 300 fuel max, like its right now.

so in short. You sacrifice some of your manpower/fuel/munition to get something in return...? idk...I like the old system

just like the current system does? you can choose to specialize in mp fu or muni now too.

only change this system gives is that you can change it whenever u want, but it comes at a cost of the other recourses.

In my opinion the difference between this and the current system isnt exactly much. What the point?

If you picture the Lvl 3 advantage as the max of a slider, and lvl 1 as the lowest, surely you get the same thing?

Would be good but there should be atleast some sort of ratios for em.. Like 5 man power is worth 1 munition, while it would take like 6-10 man power for 1 fuel

e: Mm.. Im not quite sure if you meant that trading specific advantages to others, OR just balancing em out at the same time

I dont care how it looks like as long as it kills the unbalance between army each team.

super heavies r being limited to 1. so that leaves panther and p4 to be spammed.

panther sucks vs inf and p4 is just a tank.

p4 sucks against everything so only tank viable is to spam panthers... which you can only get 2.

This is a bad idea.

if this gets implemented you soon find out that the only viable tactic is to choose Mu or Mp.
you'd be nuts if you chose fu

First your being faced off with superior Mu or Mp. = More infantry with HHAT, more ATG's, More support spam. this will inturn lead to. Infantry/Support/Arty Metagame.

Tanks and vehicles spammed will not be able to face off against overwhelming infantry + support spam.

verrrrry bad idea

I'd take HEAT + Improved barrels P4 spam. Maybe throw in some Blitzkrieg or German engineering

ever heard of the staghound/t17?

and axis will be wanting some extra fuel too if they're going for that 1 extra tank.

basically the current system sucks coz noob lvl accs need to fight high level doctrine accounts + bigger batt size coz of recourse advantages.

this new system is simply the most logical fix for all the problems of current advantages

current system you cant change specialization later -> this one you can

it also eliminates the uber annoying fact of missing a few mp/muni/whatever for that last unit.
simply go to advantages -> change the balance of one of the bars a bit, and you're set.
