Simple, elegant, totally effective.

As a heavy player, I do my best to use Sasha as much as I can over Natasha. While Natasha is much more viable lately (after all those buff patches to make it suck less) the 25% less damage in so many situations will hurt you a lot.

Then again it's not like TF2 is really designed for serious business play, so oh well :p

I dunno man, TF2 is a pretty big game competitively, especially in Aus and Europe (not as big in US but still pretty big)

But it was never REALLY designed for that. The base game ships with random criticals and nine classes. Your general 4 on 4 competetive setup uses only 3 classes almost always, weighted random crits are disabled, etc.

Competetive TF2 barely resembles casual TF2.

its evolved a bit now. A few different legues have crits enabled (and those leagues are indeed fail :\) but the format has changed to 6v6 to allow for a wider variety of classes used, that way teams have a bit more breathing space strat wise, instead of being stuck to a really simple team structure.

i.e. a basic 6 v 6 format is 2 scout, 2 sollys, 1 medic, and a Demoman. But the clan i play for will sometimes sub one scout for a pyro, or the demo for an engi (quite funny against lower ranked teams >.>) its just allows for more variability in competitive play

Well, that is a bit better, but I really prefer to see competetive play mirror the ideals set up for the base game, rather than having a lot of modifications being made. But, as I've said, TF2 is not really designed for that with its weighted random critical system and several classes that are not necessarily balanced for competetive use (like the heavy and spy, which see... well, really no use, because heavy is much too slow and spy is much too useless, especially in lower-team-size games that competetive play enjoys), much like CoH was never really designed for competetive play given its random chances for hit, random chance for penetration, random chance for unit death, etc.
