Do you guys think it's better to give your vet3 guys shreks or lmgs? (should the lmg go to the vet3 and a lower vet unit take a shrek or visa versa?)

Vet3 shreks can really dish out the hurt, but unlike storms they don't have the element of surprise so your enemy will see your shreks and kite them to death. Seems like a risky situation to put vet3s in when they can be neutralized so easily. When they do land a shrek though, it does a ton of damage...

I'd say give them whatever you're better with... if you consider yourself better with shreks do it or better at fighting off rifles get the lmg

put it on the shrek since the 20% damage will boost the shreks more considerably in value then an LMG. LMG DPS would go from 20 to 22 at short range where as shrek would go form 120 to 144. Not sure if that 22 damage will makea  difference though.

636 (health of a sherman) / 120 (damage of a shreck) = 5.3 penetrating shots

636 / 144 (damage of a vet 3 shreck) = 4.4 penetrating shots

About one less penetrating shot required to knock out a Sherman.

I give schreks to whoever needs vet. My grens know that the greatest service to the fatherland can only be achieved in glorious sacrifice.

I never have vet 3 grens for long. vet 2 grens get schreks for the accuracy if one makes ti to vet 3 it gets an LMG or nothing. and another gren gets schreks(tank kills are more XP)

vet 2 grens and above do get the accuracy bonus to shreks, and the vet 3 damage bonus helps the shrek more than the lmg *as pq pointed out

i'd go with shreks, but this doesn't mean you should never buy lmgs for them

Vet 3 LMGs do perform alot better than unvetted ones DPS wise. Schrecks do tons of damage if they hit. It's a matter of preference, really.

If you play aggressive with shrecks and want to raise your company vet then don't put shrecks on. otherwise I agree with everyone else.
