but the point of demos insta killing whole squads while the mine doesnt remains. such weapons dont belong here.
Mines insta kill whole squads all the time. M8 and PE HT mines, and tellar mines can all kill entire squads. Tellar mines insta-gib tanks as well. The goliath also kills entire squads.

The goliath also kills entire squads. mines maybe 1 hit if your squad is on really low health, but i've hardly seen it happen. you're right about teller mines, but then again... i dont like those too and the goliath get spotted quickly, so you have to run it into a squad. before that happens people already had the chanse to press retreat on their vet squad.

If anything they should probably be made cheaper indeed, to increase their desirability. Their use is very map dependant, once you have a map that features more than a handful of buildings around the center there's a significant chance you will never get to utilise your demo charge.
So no, we will definitely not be increasing their price.

noboddy wants the price to go up.
but how can you say to make it 40 munitions? the littlest thing it will do is blow up a hmg, which is already 40 munitions(and mp) and if you're luckey you get a lmg(75mu+mp) or a schreck(120!!mu+mp). not to mention the gayness of losing vetted troops without any warning or counter.
the thing i suggest to be changed about demo is that it will work like a big grenade, which wont kill 1(or 2 or 3 or 4)full hp squad(s) at once(maybe a full mg, but that's it).
and i still wonder what will happen if you put a minesweeper unit next to a democharge.

15 Munition mines will blow up your more expensive support teams too leo. M8 mines are 35 munitions and can make you lose full squads even easier.
Mines can even render your most expensive tanks immobile, practically making them useless.
Does that mean they are OP? No. Why not? Because the counter to them is a 10 Mun mine detector.
AFAIK democharges are detectable by mine detectors too, and they're not even invisible, if you look hard enough you will see them. You can even see them being deployed in the FOW last time I checked.

it used to be noob to not watch the middle houses on rtc for demo charges if you were attacking there
it used to be noob to enter a building without zooming in to see if there was a demo
no to noobifying the game more by making a easily avoidable demo charge less dangerous when you choose to skip the easy steps you can take to not lose a squad/unit

democharges are what make the game fun with a lot of other bs.doesnt the building glow in the fog of war if theirs a demo in it or is that just for the player that owns it?

How to counter a demo charge : don't let that 3 man, 55 HP/man squad get to the middle of the map and spend 10 seconds planting the demo charge.
Easy and simple.
If killing the engineer is not possible due to other enemy units nearby - simply don't go into the house that has a demo inside, or outright blow up the house. There is no excuse for not having scouting upon a contested area.
