Location: Battle of Carentan

Summary: Four LVL 1 US Armies against I BELIEVE was two Lvl 9s (Sori and Wind) and maybe 4-5 for Condor and Puddin). Lots and lots of mines, flamers, and infantry battling!

Description: Will come rewrite this as don't have time at moment, but was a surprising win, with all the allies running 18x mine spam companies with tons of engineers.  Similarly as Baine's earlier replay in the forums, I'm going to guess the 'big' Vet 3 Tiger of Wind's got overrun in this one.  Intense game, probably one of the best and most fun games I've played in awhile.

 Lol just no. Watch the replay and look at the time. We all had lots left in our companies as well. (I had barely lost anything)

Thanks Sharp, sorry my bad you somehow managed to run more mines than both me and Panda, heh.

But yeah, Ugly didn't drop till his 2nd IST died, the vet 3 one which I BELIEVE rerolled and lucky SOB still has that sucker on the leaderboard.  And that was definitely more than 'halfway' I believe, haven't had a chance to write a report on the replay until I get home today.

And I still had most of my company too, as well as many of our guys on our team also.

What time did sori drop then wind.. lol, I dont have access to looking at it atm. and sure you might have a lot of things left in your company but if we control most of the map, you aren't going to be able to bring them in

 The pop count at the top hadn't even gone negative yet - that's how early in the game it was.

 There is no question you guys were in a good position, but it was far too soon for anything to be decided either way. 4v3's don't make good replays, and describing it as some miraculous win is pretty lol. You could clone ltapollo four times and make a team out of them and it still wouldn't be amazing if it won a 4v3.

meh, anyway, the replay wasn't about the win, it was about the mine spam and vet killed. It made for a funny game

The game was a slideshow 1/4 of the way into the game.  And the IST i lost was actually my second vet 3 one at around 100 xp.  How the hell do I get reroll chance when a lvl 9, Wind is on my team.

Because the entire enemy team is composed of lvl 1 accounts? Thought rerolls were awarded to high lvls fighting low levels or the highest levels vrs other high levels?

Got to say I enjoyed the replay, loved the engy spam but also puddin's Gershutze spam was quite entertaining.

Sori dropped at about 20 minutes so it was very early in the game, can't deny that things could easily have turned around though I wonder how many units the allies really had left to bring in? I also wonder exactly how many axis tanks were left vs allied AT? Would have been beautiful to watch another 20 minutes of nearly pure infantry combat.

All in all though a very interesting fight, real shame about the drop.

Heh thanks Grinning, very different type of game there with the loads of infantry fighting going on, and curse that Vet 3 FlammenGren squad! Killed so many dudes XD

Puddin's Gershutzewagon Spam was very effective, with those MGs and their nasty firepower, he used them very well to lock off avenues of approach in the city.  Always fun seeing what strategies he comes up with units that most people don't take.
