I have an issue with the game launcher, which prevents me from even starting with EIRR.
When starting the game it checks for files. Since I newly installed the game it tells me that I need to patch some files - currently 18 although I downloaded the newest version yesterday.
Upon pressing "Update" the launcher does start with the first file, but never actually starts the download. I tried with rebooting or waiting for 8+ hours - to no avail.
The exact message is:
AutoUpdater V1.05Files 1 / 18
EIRRLauncher.exe [green bar for about 1/18th of the bar length].
Download Starting [no green bar].
My system:Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.
I'm running the windows firewall, but regularly play games online in CoH and other games.
Installation was done to the CoH folder, which in my case is located on the E:/ drive.
I'm not titulated as "Dumbass" by the launcher, so that should not be the problem either.
Any help would be appreciated, so I can actually test your fine-sounding mod.
