Ya I think I am going to convert it back to a standard territory based map, the objectives only seem to really work on 3v3+ maps.

As far as the size goes, its a hybrid 1v1/2v2 map. I have heard arguments to both effects, so I am just going to leave it as a 2v2 map and people can use their discretion as to how many players they want. Some people like the tight 2v2s whereas others like a 1v1 with some room for advanced maneuvering.

Thanks for playtesting Smiley

Anyone else ready to step up?

Can you post a top-down view for those of us without access to the game at the moment?  Best is to open worldbuilder go to "file" and use the "save overhead map" feature.  You'll have to convert the .tga to a .jpeg.  Otherwise, just move to top down in WB and screen cap.

Overhead added, don't know how i forgot that in the first place!

New version released, converted back to a territory map. I think this will be the final beta release. If this checks out I think I will be going back over with the detail drudgery and making the loading screen.

Feedback is welcome and necessary. Let me know what you think

Ok just about wrapped up making this one.

All that is left is to drop a few more splats, and do the OOB's area.

Just to give everyone an idea of how it looks with OF units in it (and to bump it back to the first page Tongue) i present to loading screen

Are you considering a remake or altering the map now that some holland stuff got added to the WB?
You can make real flowerfields now Smiley.

Ya I am considering it, I looked into it earlier but I cannot find the option to add flowers. I thought I had seen it in the grass editor, but for whatever reason I can't select new things to add out of it.

I also, when I have time, am considering replacing the buildings with "Holland" buildings, but I have a busy weekend so who knows when that will happen (Going down to Clemson for the game- Go VT!!)

For the grasses, additional splats, new atmospheres, etc etc you need to extract the "presets" folder with Corsix' Smiley.

Gives you access to a lot of extra goodies!

Ok since I am a total corsix nooblet, how the fuck does all of this work.

Where is the presets folder, because the one under WW2 in my THQ folder has nothing in it, or I am doing it wrong, or I just fail.

Also if I want to open up the CoH maps where do I find them?

Corsix -> load CoH/OF mod (make sure you have the new version with OF support)
-> Load the Relic.module file (found in the main CoH folder)
-> go to data -> art -> presets. (Click the "+" next to it to expand the folder structure)
-> Right click the folder (presets)
-> Select "Extract all files in this folder"

Done.

Open Worldbuilder.
Under grass you can now load in the new "grass types".
(different types of grass, wheat, flowers)

Under atmosphere you can now load "preset" atmospheres from Relic maps.
(Browse around, try some out, untill you find a good looking one that fits.)
-> NOTE: Don't bother making your own atmospheres, too much effort and time for something that won't be as good as a Relic one Wink.

etc etc.
