Maybe some of them are just hardcoded, anyway with that tutorial it shouldn't be a problem if you have the main sound file, btw smfplayer by manerheim, it allows you to play sounds without extracting them or converting would be helpful
rou- is just shortcut in speech code, so you can make your own with file you found

Mysthalin- it's not working this way

followed the tutorial but got stuck at the point it wants to replace files. i actually need a new file.
but in fact i dont need any new files because it's already there. but it wont play sound!
i think the only way is making a new .action file. i got it playing the v1 sound.

yeah, pretty much.
i already tried to extract the v1_incoming_sound.action, but when i did that the sound completely dissapeared ingame.
you don't need to extract it, because it's action, every ability have ability_action, you need to copy points (there it's called children) to i.e action_1 and replace action\no_action.lua to action\v1_incoming_sound.lua

You can also try to copy ftfl and replace actions, icons, etc with your skill things and you will have sound

ftfl uses speech_code, copying action only gives animations.

action of v1 sound:

Relic Chunky
       $         DATAACTN   I             v1_incoming_sound        sound_attach      patch   Vehicles\v1_Rocket   marker

so i change to this:

Relic Chunky
       $         DATAACTN   I             v1_incoming_sound        sound_attach      patch   Speech\mp\sp_gameplay_speechfx\sp_panzerofficerpropaganda   marker

doesnt work

ok, instead of changing it with notepad i found this file: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=240285&highlight=action+sound

i can open the v1 sound action and see the link to the sound, but when i change it something else... NO SOUND INGAME. even if i change the link back to V1_Rocket it doesnt work. seems like this editor doesnt edit it correctly

I meant, that to copy all ability, where sound you need, than you can replace actions of old ability

I always wanted to make a Mod that was Part EiR, Part Tower Defence, Part Tank War.

Each player takes control of a tank and levels it up by fighting against waves of enemies.
