Players dropping from games (for many reasons, but that doesn't make any difference) have increased and my opinion as well as others, is that this must not be tolerated and must be dealt or at least looked upon so we do something about it.

I don't know how it can be done, but certainly shouldn't be let to continue like this. No matter what the reason is ("didn't know", "had to go", plain drop hack, "got anihilated and bored to wait", etc) I believe that there should be some form of penalty for such behaviour (deduction of level, xp, or something similar) and if this is repeated/abused, then maybe a suspension or ban.

players mostly drop because of their crappy internet connection or their suck-ass computer.
about a year ago i used to get bluescreens frequently too.  win7 and a new harddrive fixed that. thanks to mysthalin i still got banned for drophacking though.

if you report players who drop from a game they first recieve a warning and if it happens again they get banned for a few days. still, you have to report it! ("replay or didnt happen")

If it's intentional, or you suspect it's intentional, report them in the dispute forum. Repeated offenders will be sanctioned.

You got banned because you drophacked my dear eviloha, and you only just thought of the bluescreen story - back then it didn't arise and you somehow tried to prove that you didn't drop from the game at all, back in the day. It was funny, to say the least. Maybe I could still find the thread lol.

I used to frequently drop due to some sound issue, no matter what, at 8:50 in to a game, if I had a tank on the field the game would ALWAYS slow down to 2fps then eventually crash. Sometimes things are out of the control of players. Most of the people I see dropping are new players who don't know that they shouldn't drop. That being said, games always report for me even when people have dropped (and clicked OUT sometimes to avoid the loss)

New players never know that quitting will give a draw, not sure if its mentioned in the tutorial, it should be mentioned more tho. Somewhere in the launcher so they see it.

Drophack per se was fixed by Relic when ToV was released, the worst thing it can cause is a draw (but they'll still loose any unit lost on the game).

if you "got to go" retreat your stuff first and wait for the surrender it shouldn't cause issues if you drop then if you start taking away levels because life happens well people will get pissed

You can still leave the game after a surrender, unless you are host, yes? I always stay until the end so i never knew.

it sux for people to leave but thats why we have incremental reporting now so that there's still a result. Although, it used to tally a win/loss based on field position, i haven't noticed it does that anymore, it always seems to tally a draw now.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
