Firstly, your map gets played, so i don't see why it "failed". Secondly your map is completely different, so you can't really compare it...

Its not the exact same thing. lol. You have no oil refinery. your map has large fields. mine has none. My map looks sexier, with good usage of splat placement . Honestly, i have no idea. I never got to play vieux port.? From the screens, it looks very nice. Looks like fun. Hm. No worries, i'm sure i'll end up emptyin out half the map bc people can't rush 4 m10s down the trainyard ha

I hated Vieux-Port because I played a game on it and 6 jeeps failed to kill a sniper because you put a damned pipe in the middle of the road that made them all retarded. 6 JEEPS. 6!
it was also absurdly dark. I would have to boost my brightness just to see my units and that drives me nuts.

Just played it. It's too small for 2v2 tbh. And some of the building/fence placement is gay as fuck.

Any small map will be affected by this. If you added some obstacles in the road to stop it from being a straight shot from spawn to spawn, the problem would be solved

I may just stamp it onto a new map and make it longer, this also would solve the problem, and give room to create an accessible pathway for the northern spawns to link up early.
Its much smaller than i originally thought it would play like. I'm considering stretching it out.

This map fells like how an urban map should. Somehow it makes me think im fighting in a industrial complex in Stalingrad. While i agree the spawn buff rush thing needs looking at, don't change it too much i love this map so much. And i think a large part of that is because hey its freaking different.

i didn't like it, it's way too urban, tons of shot blocking, bad pathing (too many steps up n down for infantry in hard to see places so u dont realize that ur on an incline or moving into an incline and then ur guys move into fire, stuff like that. and yeah, its way too wide tbh, fight took place on like 50% of the map, the other parts were just kinda there, u cap it and then leave it alone

The map is cool but pretty fail for pe due to pathing/shot blocking issues. Its a great map for a sherman/p4 but not for anything the pe has to offer. I think if you changed the spawns so you would be fighting across the road/train yard along with removing some of the trains this map would be pretty cool. As it stands right now any at gun/ marder can get wtf pwned pretty fast. There is just to many shot blockers and this needs to be played from the other side of the map so marders and at guns have a chance.
