Honestly - I've been hit by punches like that. You honestly don't even feel them - they're that weak. And the only way they ever connect is if you're looking in a completely different direction. Otherwise it's the easiest thing ever to duck under/sidestep and give some change into the explosed solar plexus of the retard using such a punch. Then they drop down and gasp for air like fish out of the sea, crying for mommy.
