Quick question, not a moan just wondering what the reason is, but why is a 3 man KCH squad 5 pop, when a 3/4 man Pgren squad is 4 pop?

because there's a power to population ratio.

If KCH were 3 pop instead of 5 (one per man) imagine how much firepower you could fit into your first callin. It would be very unfair to be able to field 3 KCH for every 2 rifles.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Can kinda see why he's saying that though, I guess it COULD work with less pop, but I guess it would need a slight MP or Muni bump to make up for the less pop to balance it out. And if it came down to a choice between them two, I rather stick to it being 5pop. Its hard enough to try and have enough Muni to field them. I just don't bother with them now, I don't deem them worthy enough, they get their moments of awesomeness, but usually a m10 just comes along and starts to try and bury them in the dirt forcing a retreat Cry

Back in the day, infantry used to be 1 pop per man.

It was extremely broken. Axis started at 24 pop, Allies at 30. However, tanks were 12 pop still with the exception of heavies.

This resulted in ye old Gren Spam, KCH spam and Stormie spam.

Imagine fighting 4 KCH squads and 3 squads of Double schrek storm with your allied opening callin.

Or the imbalance of having 3 squads of Grens to fight allied tanks, but only 2 squads of rifles trying to fight a p4.

Yes, because the Rifleman is ever so equal to the stormtrooper or grenadier Smiley.

12 riflemen and 12 grens are the same number of men, yeah. But look at how many special weapons 3 gren squads can get.
