Fired it up, downloaded that neat Star Trek mod, lots of fun, full conversion. Give it a look.
Using Hamachi for those who do not have Stardock working.
Network is "EIR Sins"

I would but Stardock made some mistake on their end and pulled all my CD keys with them. Said I was being fradulent or something which confused me as I had paid for Sins when it was still in beta(a thing I regret) The gameplay could be so painful in that game. Me and Scyn were undefeated in 2v2 though.
Also the community was retarded. Me and scyn compiled a list of changes that would be good to see and we got told we didn't know how to use certain ships properly. The largest patch post release for Sins saw like 60% of changes we suggested 4 months previously.(I'm not trying to take credit for it, it's just funny seeing people insult you and then 4 months later given the same changes praise the developers cock)

Going to reinstall Sins now. Are the expansion packs any good?
I'm not a big Star Trek fan, is there no BSG or SW conversion? :p I'll give it a try either way.

There is a BSG (not done yet) and SW conversion (released) actually. The one I really want is the Dawn of Victory mod, but its not done. WW2 in SPAAACE!!! The Star Trek mod is definitely worth a look, even if you aren't a Star Trek fan. Oh, and the EvE Online mod, want. Star Wars http://www.moddb.com/mods/sins-of-a-galactic-empire

I like the depth of the game, but this game takes too long and plays out too passive. I once played with 4 other friends at a Lan, and after 8 hours we were still not close to finishing/victory OR the end of the tech trees...

Mods tend to change that a bit, was doing some 1v1 vs the PC and it usually ended around 30min or so, Star Trek vessels hit hard.

You got something better to do? lol Actually AMPM is right, startrek ships hit very hard. Once your through the shields its pretty much GG. Id imagine making the game semi micro intensive at the same time.

Actually, besides that Klingons and Romulans rely on good use of Cloaking to overcome Federation ships of the same size, the limited arcs of fire mean you have to let your ships line up on target (for things like disrupters and torpedoes). Federation ships have a huge advantage in firing arcs.

What's the hamachi pass?
Also, do we need any expansion for the mod to work? I already bought original sins but none expansion with it.
