can already see people griefing with that idea though
make a storm only company, lose everything, go back to your allied account.
I doubt we'll have problems tracking down the idiots who attempt to do that.

If I get shot and it's a gay medic fixing me up, he's not gonna be fondling my balls while he does it. You can't patch a chest wound and suck a cock at the same time.

Perhaps not, but other 'rules' aren't enforced so what's to believe this one would.

Pretty sure people have been slapped on the wrist for that when it has been reported....

Fast-Fire ATG was fixed some time ago, dropping still gets you banned.

Nug, in close combat Airsupport and Artillery support are determinded by the Forecast. If it is rainy or anything else other than a clear day the Air support is nullified, same thing goes for artillery, they usually work only in clear weather.
However I had a thought- if a player has artillery pieces, he could use them as his offmap. Like Nebelwerfer unit in battalion. It is a offmap. You choose the offmap and fire. Nebelwerfer rounds will land on the target marked by some tactical smoke (yellowish like in CC) or something alike

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

That would be slightly cool (the offmap thing). Only problem with it is, do the devs really want to spend their effort coding offmaps for each arty piece.
How how would it work? Like would it be a cool down thing? Would you only couple uses? And how would it work in regards of your pop (since its off the map, you can roll with like 2 hummels or something and be able to use them)...

Don't need to do this.
But if we really wanted to, we can. The old on-maps did not take distance into account, they travelled as if they were off-maps, fixed time on target everytime. Just revert to the old system and add smoke. Done.

i have gotten everything to lvl 9 and i am having to do everything over and over could we get some new units to pop out in the mean time of the waiting,i have began drifting away from this mod but i really hope that it will grab me i feel nothing is going to get finished ,and i thought of an idea like getting units from maybe the russians or french freedom fights and other smaller nations
also maybe like the bottom tier 3 you could pick the pershing or t-44 or t 35 but you must pay extra pp for the other special tanks and/or infy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:World_War_II_Soviet_tanks
also thought of another tank to switch out the pershing and t14 tank it almost looks like a sherman but i think it just has more amour

fldash really looked into it a lot and i read a thread about it somewhere once ... in order to track what unit kills you need to run a function for each unit CONSTANTLY.. it would crash most everyone pretty quick
something to that effect anyways.
the game just wasn't programmed to track individual kills in exact information. I think che might be right that it tracks infantry kills/armor kills whatever for each unit, its displayed in game... but I remember someone saying no one had figured out how to access that yet.
It DOES track the inf / armour kills for each unit yeah - but its not accessible via any of the functions I know of.

If someone finds one, let me know please ;P
But if not, I have a very SNEAKY way of tracking inf, veh, tank, big tank, etc =) Thats at least enough methinks!

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Re OP:
Or, possibly, it could've failed utterly with the incredibly steep learning curve similar to the very mild success enjoyed by tabletop gaming with a similar learning curve or in-depth realistic strategy games with a similar steep learning curve. Only this curve would've been players relearning all the units in addition to the new playstyle.
Whether it would've been more successful by being more audacious or not is anybody's guess, but Keep It Simple Stupid is a great doctrine for a reason.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.
