i said from the start that this was gonna fail horribly. and i stated that if people couldnt follow the rules of signing up. how can ya play a campaign with rules coming out of your ass
No, this didn't fail horribly, but i'll tell you what did: that fail post you just made.
So you said it was gonna fail horribly from the start. Wow, is that something to be proud of? Does it somehow look good these days to say "I told you so" when something someone (Smokaz in this case) worked his ass off to organize for the community - with no incentive or reward - fails?
Should he have not even tried? Should no one ever try to do something that might be difficult to do because it could fail?
Shame on the people who did nothing to help Smokaz try, and then have the balls... the audacity... the bullshit arrogance to chime in now like they knew better and were smarter for never even trying in the first place.
Today was a nightmare. In addition to wasting two hours, getting 4 losses in relic and another one on my EiR profile, and losing a vet 3 sherman, it was just really frustrating and aggravating. We were all highly frustrated by the time the game even got launched from the launcher, and then a slew of drops etc. hit. In that aim I made this joke thread to poke fun at how much funny rage we were typing in chat.
But you know what? I couldn't be more impressed that Smokaz spent the time coming up with this idea, and working hard to bring it to life. He did this for the community, and frankly when I look at the reward vs effort i'm pretty impressed he even bothered. He atleast tried and failed, while most everyone else just likes to reap the rewards of EiR and are the first and loudest to bitch when something they want doesn't happen instantly.
So shame on you and everyone like you that now gets to act smug about their apathy and lack of involvement. Shame on you all.
What an embarrassment to the mod posts like that are.
