Even if Lieutnant can be good vs infantry now they still wont beat a Assault grenadier squad, unless...hmm Brenguncarrier and officer...
LT IS good against infantry...

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

That's exactly what it does. Read the draft it says "Elite Armors" There wasn't enough space to list all the armor types. It basically makes all armor types as if it was shooting at normal Infantry armor. The reason why I didn't write no penalties is because Stens normally have penalties against Infantry Armor.
which still means the LT sten wouldn't really be buffed against most units out there. Soldier armor is exclusive to Brits and PE only, and most infantry in the wehr arsenal is still going to be wearing infantry armor.
it would be more effectively against PE but a doctrine buff shouldn't be so specific. This would make LT good in combat against PE specifically but it would still remain the same against wehr.
Personally I would just give the LT more health.

All commando tree is not attractive it lacks something that promotes hit and run fighting style. Maybe we should discuss general approach to each doctrine, what do people expect from them?

Just a thought. the RCA T1 ability, CCT gets commando like smoke, does that mean the CCT can drop smoke and disappear like commandos?

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I have a question about doctrines:
Have you guys thought about adding some of the reward units as doctrine unlocks? I don't know if you guys have considered this or not, but it might be an interesting thought. Sure they'd need rework, but I don't see why not try it.
EDIT: Maybe even a "wild card" ability that lets you surrender a certain tier 3 unlock for the possibility of unlocking a reward unit. EX: Instead of unlocking the pershing, a player could have the choice to unlock a sherman jumbo. You could also have some of these "wild cards" carry over to another doctrine. Instead of a certain tier 3 unlock in infantry, you might be able to trade it for a sherman jumbo just like in armor or another possible reward unit that WOULD be different than the two options available for the armor doctrine (assuming each doctrine gets two choices). Terror players could trade their ability to buy a KT for a tiger ace etc.

Couldn't find a way to word it correctly. It gives the CCT a smoke drop ability that fires it like the commando smoke ability.

Arbitrary reasons.
Current docs for the most part are fine.

Because some doctrines are quite frankly a lot weaker than others, some are a lot stronger than others and some are just.. undesired by the players.

Because making whole new unbalanced doctrines is easier than fixing the broken ones.

SE, Luftwaffe and Commandos all more or less so require complete overhauls to become desirable, RCA isn't even in yet, Armour and Airborne require complete redesign in their T3s and T4s.
So that's 6/12 doctrines that require massive design change(or creation).
Terror requires mire design changes.
Blitz, RSE and Defensive require fine-tuning.
Infantry requires massive nerfing of 2 T4s and a certain T3.
Tank Hunters require an entire tree redesigned.
So yeah. Don't worry - the devs are going to take into account the current doctrines while creating the new ones. They're not going to be silly and create something entirely new and unrelated.

We can't say doctrines are unbalanced until they are 100% working.
Luft for instance is considered weak, but it hasn't had Ambush bonuses for months so how do we know?
Armor needs its super repairs changed, but thats about it, and maybe some Mech Infantry units added.
AB needs to be toned down on numbers, AW needs to go away.
Commando's need relatively minor changes, mostly its bug fixing so it can actually be tested. More to do with Mando unit pricing than anything else.
Infantry is pretty decent, needs minor changes.
Tank Hunters needs bug fixing and working abilities before we can say it needs a redesign.
Defensive needs 100% excitement.

Look at the new doctrines, AmPm - they're being redesigned based on the current ones. We're not throwing all that hard work away.

some of the change also seems arbitrary. I'm a commandos player and as much I think the current one is a bit weak I don't like the new one that much anyway.
The blitz is probably one of the few that doesn't require few changes but seems like it's being changed for the fun of it.
