If you can fit 1 Kts into 1 company and can geta jaged tiger into 1 company or 2 Tigers into 1 COmpany why do the xis NEED the HEaviest At gun in the game?

The heaviest ATG in the game is the 17pdr, and you can't have 2 kts on the same company.

You can only have 1 KT per company. It's hard-capped.
Secondly, Pak40 is to only be made available to Defensive. A company which does not have KTs at it's disposal.
Third - Axis having heavy tanks is irrelevant to whether they should have the pak40.
The allies have the Pershing and multiple Churchil variants - against which the pak40 is generally intended to fight.

Having played with it, and no longer using it.
It really isn't any better than the PaK 38 except against maybe heavy tanks, and is much much worse vs light vehicles.

The PaK 40 might hit once, the PaK 38 will hit 2-3 times pretty easily. If circled the PaK can run faster. |

My question is why is the 17pdr still an emplacement? I really think its time this was moved to a manpack model like the pak40.
Emplacements (17pdr, bofors and maybe the 25pdr) in my opinion are redundant in EIRR and we need to see these weapons adjusted to the game play.
Then again I have been going on about this for years.......

I keep hearing there is supposed to be a 17pdr coming that's man packed.
As for heavy AT, well, both sides could use it, though I do like the PaK 40 going to Defensive....still its not really worth the Tier unlock unless there are other things included in it.
As I said, its an ok gun, it was good the first couple times for WTF factor, but the PaK 38 does about the same DPS in practice and is faster to turn and relocate.
