I like that 4 man KCH are running down his infantry, but they are also one of the least resource and pop efficient combat units in the game, being slightly better than 3 Man KCH....

Then why does every terror doctrine spam them if they are so ineffective?
And your saying a 10 Min cool down that's not a universal recharge???
So if you have 2 its every 5 mins and it KILLS??? So your officer can clear At guns for Ostwins or pumas...
Or clear an MG for Grens with Dual LMGS, 4 man KCH, or MP40 Volks OH MY!!!!
Its a shame how underpowereed that 1 unit can be as most allied companies can;t support spam...
And i PLay armor, I never hear it mentioned up there... And blitz is weaker then terror...
Ya know what i would care to see all terror player stats... Whats their records? The mean average wins and losses... I;d be interested to see.

4 man KCH only get good with Pervitin pills.
For general combat dual LMG grens cost less and do better at most ranges for less pop.
zomg, so the Defensive officer is less scary than a Captain? FOO is by far better than Mortar Barrage.

The reason I chose KCH (terror) was because I wanted to run an elite infantry company and didn't like the options in allied.

Infantry is OVERBUFFED? Really? Compared to
Luft
and Airborne, it's barely mild.
...wut?

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

You're right. Every Terror player is somehow spamming Defensive Officers!
The only reason Defensive players run Defensive Officers is because there's not much else you can do. Defensive has always been the underdog, boring and underpowered. If you're seriously complaining about one offmap every 10 minutes, then wow... I don't know what to tell you. British FOO is exponentially better than the mortar strike, and the smoke barrage is more useful for dealing with long range suppression weapons (which is what Allies tend to face more of), as well as capable of being used more often.
Similarly, the Defensive Officer has almost no buffs. Sure, he can use Supervise, but that requires constant micromanagement, only affects one unit (and within a
very
short distance), and doesn't give good enough buffs to make up for all its shortcomings.

Good times, good times. I miss my officer getting an average of 25-30 inf kills a game
I am not going to try to hide the fact that I almost exclusively play Infantry doctrine, thus I am most likely a bit to biased to participate in the discussion. But I dont see the officer in itself to be too powerful. I must admit the infantry doctrine is very powerful, but if anything should be (and it is going to be) nerfed then it is the sticky range bonus t3 and Tank Reapers (could be toned down abit maybe). But since I rarely play anything else, I don't have the enough in-depth knowledge to say if it is op or not compared to other doctrines.
When I get owned it is more likely that I just faced the better player rather than their abilities/unlocks being OP and I expect that it is the case with alot of others aswell, so deal with it. Play more and get better :p
P.S. Airborne > Infantry

I've previously brought up the fact the US officer is just way too survivable, considering his overall cost. I understand he is supposed to be a frontline officer - but he should still be killable!
Even at 140 health, being with heroic criticals allows it to survive 184 damage jagdpanther shots! Honestly? Jagdpanther and KT shots being survived by an infantry man? That is just beyond absurd.
His health wouldn't be that much of a problem if his thompson wasn't so bloody good, either. I mean - it's likely the very best SMG in the game, without exception : capable of destroying more or less so any other infantry in battle(I would know, I've used 3x US officer mobs as impromptu KCH... which fared a lot better than regular KCH do). So either the US officer's health needs to go down, or his gun needs to get toned down(equalised to lieutenant sten?).

Anyone who thinks officers aren't OP needs to desperately play a game against them as axis.
And +1 to Mysth.

It's already been discussed and a Hard Cap won't be implemented on the American officer(yet anyway) His weapon is being toned down, so he functions more in line with the LT or Defensive Officer. and isn't a mainline infantry unit but rather the force augment he is intended to be.
