I represent the "Pool Cost is Too Damn High" Party.
-EIR players can't afford to build their desired companies because of pool cost
-Allies can't buy at guns, snipers, and calliopes without risking pp loss
-LISTEN! Someone's sherman is getting blown up CAN YOU HEAR IT? You gotta listen like me. Sherman ain't got no support cuz the pool cost is too damn high.
-My job is to put PPs the on the table and desired companies in the launcher
-Let's talk about issue!
-Pool cost is too damn high

This is a good post. Does the Calliope pull from Support?

Shit so it does...

well Given it's Fuel cost it's rare you'll hit he Armour pool limit. I can change that.

Thoughts?

It's also a Tank, and More of a Tank with NGV then a Support option.

The fact that it eats all your Fuel but doesn;t pull from Armour doesn't seem odd to you?

Hummel and Priest can pull from those aswell if it benefits the Doctrine.

I agree with the rest. The calliope, even with NGV - is still relied on as artilery more than it is relied upon as a tank.

It should remain within it's support pool.

No, it really shouldn't as it makes it too difficult to get at guns.

And its a Sherman, which is armor, so armor pool it should be.

*note, only ones disagreeing atm are heavily axis biased

Consider it as a trade off

RCA Companies that have a lot of arty has no tanks. Trade off

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

I would, but the fact is, that with it being in the Support pool, it destroys your capabilities for support weapons, and as the fuel is so HIGH it destroys your armor capabilities also

It is still a trade off mate. You get the best artillery piece in game that becomes an actual tank with a tier 3 unlock. Its fast arty piece, its STRONG too due to its armor and gets smoke all what the other arty pieces lack of. Its cost is high for a reason if it was any lower people would more or less have 2 of them in their coy and few tanks ontop of that. Now if you take 2 of those you'll end up with nothing to defend 'em. Same thing with Any other doctorine. Example: PE with 2 hummels, they got very little for everything else fuelwise. RCA is whatsoever as they get the button and PIATs that work together like a dream so they don't need ATGs in that matter. PE with no vehicle stopping cabilities (other than LATHT which is only engine damage, temporary or perma)

PE gets 50 mm Hts which destroy any Allied armor

LATHT is more of a sniper, then a at weapon another thing that your can't buy with a cally

It is nothing but a mobile PAK38 everyone knows this yet people still tend to disagree with it and say its awfully better. It indeed has its advantage which is no deployment time and rapid movement to enable it to scoot and shoot. However this pak indeed eats a lot of support pool, if you got 2 hummels I must say to you you ain't got anything left to buy these things. Not many at least say 2 of them at max and maybe that is too much as well.
