The CoH:O devs claim to have fixed it, hopefully after their next patch we could possibly implement this into EIRR.

The 5% Bug
This is a bug that has been in the game for a number of years and was quite difficult to track down. Many long time players will be familiar with getting a vehicle down to its last sliver of health, the last 5%, and then it appears as if the unit becomes invulnerable to the tanks or anti-tank guns that you have pummeling it. Shell after shell will seem to hit the tank but not destroy it. These units were receiving duplicate critcals, such as damaged engines, and not being destroyed by the shot that penetrated their armor. This has now been fixed.
We’re putting the finishing touches on the Operation Menace update for Company of Heroes Online, stay tuned for more news.

Yeah we could have fixed that whenever we wanted to. I'm gonna see how it plays out in CoHO. It will probably rape light vehicles.

actually light vehicles dont have a problem with the 5% bug as far as i've seen, its usually the heavies that benefit from this the most, i rarely rarely see an LV get the 5% bug
btw, if this is fixable, why doesn't it happen? EIRR can sometimes really get screwed up by 5% bugs

it does happen less on LVs simply because they usually go from 50% to 0% in 1 shot or something.

note I said "as far as I've seen" i didn't say i think it doesn't happen but that i haven't seen it and even less so in my experience in CoH:o but in EIRR i see it happen a lot.
I'd also love to see Crit tables fixed, i shouldn't be able to damage or destroy a tanks engine from the front, its just retarded...game play related it may work but i wouldn't mind a change.
also, i shouldn't take out a tanks gun when i get a rear hit as well, but if i hit from the side depending on whether it rolls a front or rear hit yeah.
