Think I might try my hand at mapping.

attempted to make one earlier this year but it was bland and my pc didnt have the ram to stop the WB hangtime.

Don't knock it til uve tried it bitchface, this isn't anything like salads version. Besides u said a semois conversion would never work, now look that's the most played map, ohgodwhy.jpg r u map lead

Looking very nice. I'd only suggest you to add some "battle scars" on it, such as damage on buildings, craters from bombs and mortars on roads and fields, etc.

u usually don't see 4 different kinds of craters on one kind of land (urban in this case)

also use height mapping for the craters and the rest of the map.

note that without craters u can also make it look pretty (take vcoh maps as an example)

and for ur next map, don't make the map size the same as the playable area. else u look right into the void at the edge of a map.

I've wanted to learn how to map properly for a while, but I've never had the time.

The only talent needed for mapping is Imagination and patience.

If you have those 2 components you can make anything you want. Learning the details of the world builder comes with time.

If you want to make this a campaign map then you'd need to give it a different name by the way, if not then nevermind. I'd like to look at it myself in the WB.
