eirr should really edit world objects.

increase the HP on bridges / make them invulnerable and it should totally work.

also other objects in this thread btw: http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=16895.0

Problem is not just with the vulnerability of bridges, it's the general problem that they funnel all combat onto a single location, creating huge deadlocks and campdowns.

thats what it usually gets to yeah, but with good map design (or good ingame tactics) it wont happen. take vengeance as example, invulnerable bridges would improve the map. oh, and fix the gliders too right away! i forgot about those.

my bridges will be practicaly on spawn , so they will not be a game changing factor.
It's going to be more of an eyecandy , and the first eir map with bridges? yay ! :p

Then remove them, because a single SE squad or M8 or Pio or whatever can lock it down pretty well by mining or tanktrapping or roadblocking. As they will not effect gameplay in a positive way or meaningful way outside of this they should be removed.

Unless they are just for looks and you can cross all over the rivers.

Oh noes, a reason to actually use Airborne and Commandoes behind enemy lines

I see it's 50% 50% here .

I'd rather have rivers unpassable to use more support weapons , but i guess i'll make rivers passable with the bridges.

Its my opinion that maps with water and bridges generally suck.

Why ? Cause the rent is too damn high.
