I have just seen a balance issue relating to PE Pool costs. I have tried a strategy of a few big ticket vehicle items, backed up by hordes of PE, Tankbuster, Ass Gren and Fallschrimer Inf.

As a result I have loads of Munitions and Manpower to spend on the inf, however the Inf Pool value of about 80 something is quickly exhausted (not including the 30 reserve points).

In total I get aout 19 inf squads of various flavours upgraded and 3 "big ticket Items".

I have something like 1400 MP leftover because I have depleted the Pool Value for inf.

One reason for this is that Tank Busters and (Pool = 4), Assault Grenadiers (Pool = 6) are greater than Panzer Granders Vanilla (pool = 3).

This sux as in addition to paying more for the weapon upgrade (Assault Rifles, Shrek) you also pay a higher pool value for the privlege. All Allied units are spared this; so Rangers base unit (Pool = 6) is the same as Ranger with a 2 x Zook upgrade (also Pool = 6). Ranger with Thompsons also has a pool value of 6.

I beleive the same is for all allied inf. Can we please balance this disparity. I would like hordes of infantry (upgraded as my munitions allow) as well please Smiley

So what you're saying is that the pool cost of PE infantry should be the same, regardless of kit.

Yes, or increase pool cost of allied infantry if upgraded. Just make it balanced please.

To increase the pool cost of, say, Rangers with Thompsons and Bazookas, would require making them a separate unit.

So, what you're really saying is that the cost of PE infantry should be the same, regardless of kit.

Im easy on the implementation, I just think it should be balanced. If that is the easiset way to implement then yes - make the pool cost of all PE inf units the same (hell maybe even reduce that for Falls as they really arent that comparable to Rangers or AB Rifles with Bars they get fucked up - in my opinion).

I susepct this will be alleviated with the new doctrine implementation with support Fallschrimer units but still stands as a balance issue in my eyes.

Pool cost should be cheaper for all PE inf, they are circumstancial grenadiers/4 man volks.

Actually yes, PE infantry should be cheaper regardless of kit. Unless of course you want to give them Elite and AB armor instead of Soldier armor.

You resolve a problem, not ignoring it.
Are you drunk again?
Then give me 1 more RP as a refund for the fail M36.
2RPs for TheLastArmada for his fail Achilles.

Umm, no.

We've got a revamped Pool system coming too. I was hoping to put it out with the Patch but until it's configured properly I've got to wait. The new Pool system should be out after the weekend hopefully
