So, Eliwood, the guy we got most of our custom models from has in the past 2 days, released 4 tutorials on advanced CoH modding and I would like to repost these here to see if the community would have any interest learning this kind of stuff.

You never know, in the past 2 weeks we've had 5 people learn to map from scratch and one guy who's learning NIS. (Elitegren) So having a few model mixers or SCAR coders in house would be nice.

These are tutorials on how to do advanced model mixing, SCAR rules/coding, and adding combat slots to vehicles.

Model Mixing:

Custom SCAR rules:
http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?236250-Tutorial-Custom-SCAR-Rules

Combat slots and OE stuff:

I already know how to create 3d models and such as i'm a modeler for the Imperial Gaurd: Brothers in arms mod.

But a nice advanced model mixing wouldn't hurt. Thanks Groundfire Cheesy

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

Hetzer chasis with a high splash-damage 17 pounder turret that also has 2 hetzer MGs on top of it.

The only available tanks that PE can even use for an MBT are the PzIII and PzIV, really. I would actually love to see a PzIII, but then it's just another of what PE already has, an infantry support tank that's useless against other tanks. It would certainly be different from PE's PzIV, but it wouldn't fill the gap of MBT really. And adding a PzIV doesn't require a modeler, and also makes things very confusing because I hate referring to the PE PzIV by the retarded name Relic gave it but at the same time if I referred to it by what it actually was people wouldn't understand.

Unless you want to use captured tanks. How about we give PE a captured T-34? Cheesy

Spartan, while that would be totally awesome and finally give PE a flamethrower it doesn't solve the issue of a main battle tank, because then it's even more useless against tanks! All of the MBTs are average price, decently sturdy, decent speed, good against inf, and decent against tanks. A PzIII and PE's current PzIV don't meet those qualifications for MBT, and adding a flamethrower doesn't change that.

Well, ill put the kaibosh on this right now, but there's a PzkfwIII in the works by the pro modders at RN, but what they are not doing are vehicle variations and the more obscure tanks.

Something like the Canadian Ram can easily be achieved by crossing the Roo with a sherman turret.

We could also do the Super Pershing.

Just a Pershing with the KT barrel, and some of the cromwell armor turret parts would do the trick.
