It may have been "fine" to some people, but the doctrines werent all created by the same person, or balanced against eachother. Now they are.

Also, we cant make a 1 to 1 comparison between Armor and Blitz.

Armor is like all armor, blitz encompasses a plathroa of strategies and builds it would make sense that the emphasis of Blitz be on speed and support as much as hitting power.

Also, when most people look at the armor doctrines, they see a wall of text that says what looks like some bullshit buff.

"Pffft, HVAP gives all Allied tanks +33% pen"

When you compare this to the fact that HVAP, even when stacked on top of the upgun only makes the Sherman penetrate the front of a panther 40% of the time, the match up is still garbage, the sherman has no chance.

Yes, P4s will get mauled, but with the sherman upgun, a mere 60 munitions out of pocket, shermans are penatrating P4 front armor 102ish% of the time anyways, making the HVAP redundant.

All of these doctrine buffs, every last one of them can be explained by the math to make a perfectly legit and useful doctrine ability that conforms to the design set down by the devs at the start of the rework. \

So tym's right, its gonna be fine. Lets at least try it out. New stuff is fun. Smiley

Blitzkrieg is the new Axis Infantry doctorine with the new Tier 4. All the other Tier 4s are quite crap in my mind.

Battle Hardened would be great with 3x Panthers as armor due to the Panzer Aces Doctorine. It doesn't benefit stugs all that much since they got no turret. Although Keep it Moving Suicide StuGs with BH to simply Sprint into middle of Allied support spam to pop assault would be quite hilarious.

I see brn4me liked the idea of assault having no icons and it has been added for blitzkrieg ehehe

Well if lightning war is indeed un-nerfed (LOS crap) it will be useful for light vehicle spam companies...

Reminds me... Shouldn't all the infantry start with a fire up that neglects all Suppression for the 1 minute. Sprinting guys that meet a hmg in the way isn't exactly amusing. Doesn't that sprint give more accuracy and such for the HMG?

Indeed, and general purpose doctrine builds suck, because they lose to enemy Infantry Specialized and Armor Specialized in both areas; since team games are the majority having 3 specialized super powered doctrines vs 3 general purpose balanced docs = massacre if the specialized team has a clue.

I want to tell my 2nd Dad, XII Corps.
About this fail doctrine tree.
The failest point of this is the spreaded tank buffs.
The tank buffs are too wide-spreaded.
I want HEAT, Panzer Aces, and Mobile tactics.
And where's my improved barrels?

HEAT rounds are T3 now, but T4 Joint Ops is almost useless...
And why are tank buffs so spread??? It´s weird.

As much as he tries to troll, this is a valid point. The Allied Armor doctrine for instance has multiple buffs to the same units in a single tree or easily available on a t1 or t2.
