Seeing as they were your baby, find animation/sound for it too. It looks stupid.

The use Garand right now. I was talking to computer about Shotgun sounds but then I left for work for the month.

There seems to be a dropping of something when it went into EiR. Mine has Garand sounds but apparently others don't.

The shotguns aren't free, however.

but they are better , so t4 with the price is viable for a better weapon

Stormies MP44s should come down in cost...its 300 manpower with 200 munition dumped on it (Dual MP44s + Medkits) Isn't that a tad too huge investment? You'd be better off with a sniper for what it is currently worth

A 4 man squad, Im never going to spend 2x MP44 upgrade on it, 1 is pricey enough. Agree that it could possibly be looked into to make it more appealing or worth it.

Falls Tank buster squad's cost at 250 munitions is way too high. Maybe someone in the EiR team could reconsider ? Lowering it  ?

They should be done like Stormies, choose 1 schrek, or 2 schreks.

That said, Axis has no infantry that stands up to the Allies in terms of firepower. Why do MP44's on Stormies cost so much? Who knows.

It's almost as bad with FJ, nothing they have besides the FG42 touches Rangers for instance.

a ff can't beat a tiger or kt easy get off it. 1 v 1 they both have too much health and all it takes is 4 hits from each tank to take out the FF while it will take at least 10 from the FF (9 to kill Tiger, 14 for king tiger). A Panther has a better chance beating a Pershing or Croc than a FF would against either Tigers. And it is absolutely no match for a Jagdpanther, it's much too fast.

I'm sorry, but are you seriously saying that the Crocodile fails because it's an über anti-infantry tank that gets raped by general purpose or specifically anti-tank tanks that cost 200+ fuel more than it? Same for Pershing failing against Panther, Pershing can fight tanks but is not meant for it, Panther is 500 fuel invested to a pure anti-tank platform. Sure it can get some infantry kills with lucky shots, but then again so can ATGs and Marders, and you wouldn't consider those general purpose units good for fighting both inf and tanks.

P4s don't really win against M10s with both players being skilled because the M10 has much better range and speed.

I didn't say it fails, i said it's not really a match for anything on the axis above a p4 (panther, tiger, king tiger, jagdpanther) also the range on the m10 wont make much of a difference because its only +5 and its hard as hell to kite that 5 range.

lol pershing not meant to fight tanks? really? just because it's really good vs infantry doesn't mean its not meant to fight tanks. The stats it has says other wise. It has a 10% dmg buff vs panthers and jagdpanthers, and when you buy the 76mm upgrade, it gives the pershing the hvap which increases its penetration vs heavy armor.

also, the panther is a much better ai platform than an at gun.

AT gun = .15 acc vs infantry
panther = .60 acc vs infantry.
p4 = .75 acc

so while the p4 has more splash so it can take out more than one infantry at a time, the panther is quite good at sniping infantry. I've seen well microed panthers and jagdpanthers get 20+ infantry kills in a single game.

so i reiterate, axis elite units are its armor, allies get infantry, thats just how it is. Once you start to change that, you start to mess with the balance.

my terror grenadiers did just fine job,around 120mun for full lmg,medikit and nades...and they did very good job for price,heck,they were even better at killing stuff and close and long range than falls,and had more survability...

So Tym what you are saying is if Axis players dont play by that rule, they are doomed to fail. Or if there doctrine doesnt have one of those "elite tanks" they are also doomed to fail or if they dont use a Panther its Also doomed to fail? thats where you fail reasoning

ive seen identical builds between axis and allies. Sherman with ATG with riles or P4 pak grens. So how can two sopposebly different playstyles so happily be able to mimic certian builds. It cant so your reasoning fails

Giving certian Elite units does not break balance, Look at all the nifty better Allied tanks that will mostly always penetrate, place an ATG and there you have it. a tank counter to a Tiger, theres nothing more pop effective.

Giving elite units would just add variety and add a different gameplay to the Axis variety of builds, they would be able to mimic rangers and airborne blobs of Pak, elite unit blob, shrek and hmgs etc. just like you can in allied builds.

Also giving elite units would keep allied player builds abit more honest having to make a call in to deal with elite units. so it forces balanced builds a less rifle spam. isnt that what you want Tym? less spam games?

Hey go start your own tank thread you doofus's.. I want constructive ideas on how to play axis as an elite infantry company like I could with the 4 man kch squads ;(..

I guess i'll plug on my blitz stormtroopers and hope it plays good at the end ..

I think bottom T4 for blitz makes your stormies pretty hardcore, thats what Im getting.

The usage of 3 bundle nades with the T4 and vet 2 seems pretty powerful to me.

Elite armor is extremely powerful because you can buff all of your grenadiers and charge up to assault nade the crap out of all the allied infantry. Follow with kch.
