AMPM is wrong, 100% .. I looked through all the rgds last night to prove the truth on elite armor.

most submachine guns get 75% accuracy, 75% damage against elite armor, all the allied ones i looked throu did.

stg44s got 75% accuracy and 100% damage against elite armor.

Pershing: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg
Jumbo: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg
Sherman 75mm:  75% accuracy, 100% dmg
Sherman 76mm: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg

Cromwell: 65% accuracy, 100% dmg
Cromwell 95mm: 100% Accuracy, 100% dmg
Churchill mkIV: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg
Churchill mkVI:  75% accuracy, 100% dmg

Ostwind: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg
Panzer IV: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg
Panther: 60% accuracy, 100% dmg  <<moving multiplier 60% accuracy>>
Tiger: 75% accuracy, 100% dmg
STuH: 40% accuracy, 100% damage

Panzer IV IS: 75% accuracy, 100 dmg

so again, how are you correct in ASSUMING that tanks rape elite infantry?  this is taken directly from the RGD files.

Because tanks already rape regular infantry Salan, so how does Elite armor make them any better again?

VS the majority of things that they die to, it does nothing anyway.

Those are basically the same values as vs normal infantry armor.

The best thing you could do is stop listening to AmPm, elite armor is the reason why rangers are so hard to kill, ab armor is just a nerfed version of elite armor as well, elite armor is also given with vet 2 at vCoH to beat back BAR rifles with unupgraded grenadiers, go go go elite armor.

Rangers die, just not to unupgraded units. MP40 volks, LMG grens, FG42 FJ, Tanks of any kind, etc; all destroy Rangers.

And sure, its useful, up until that upgraded range croc comes rolling in, or that fast firing Infantry Coy Sherman, or anything with a hand grenade.

Elite is an armor type.

However, when talking about Elite infantry, we are talking about a unit that is durable (not meaning just tough, but maybe has a GTFO card) and hard hitting.

Personally, I'd be happy with giving Grens the option to buy MP44's for like 95mu =)

I still wonder why Stormies with dual mp44 and medkits costs 200 munitions. Add in bundle/assault its 245-250 munitions on a SINGLE squad with zero anti tank and without get out jail free card
