Instructions:

Best 3 (or maybe 1 idk how manyppl will do this) that does their own audio/video shoutcast of an EIRR game that doesnt include me gets a Warmap Beta slot, and if it's really good, ill make sure it gets public and polished.

Rules:
-Video Casts are more prefered
-Co Hosts will recieve Beta slots and will be counted as their own entry (we shall judge who is the better host!)
-Audio Casts will suffice if you cant do a video cast
-Be insightful, funny, entertaining and informative
-Im not going to help you (nananana)


Host the video on youtube and post the link here
If you need help getting it hosted somewhere, you can send the video file to me and ill upload it for us to watch.

Again, if your hungry for a Beta spot, I anticipate this one will be an easy win, you just gotta put forth the effort!

Top 3 Entries will get a slot in the Warmap Beta test starting on the 18th.

I'd like to know this too. Maybe have it so that the first place shoutcast is the only one that gets betaslots, but if multiple people were in it they all get the reward?

Co hosts are allowed and it shall count as their own entry into the competition. But each host shall be judged individually if this is the case

I did this and I'm uploading the shoutcast now, should be up by tomorrow. Really wish I had looked for a co-host, it was awkward talking to myself and there were some times where I didn't say anything at all for 10-30 seconds.

what are some good programs to use for recording audio and video? in game i mean.

I would suggest you get your hands on a copy of FRAPs, or try WeGame or Xfire for recording.

Then you need a video editing program to chop the video into 10minute parts. If you have FRAPs (which requires a lisence) the movie files are already chopped into 10 minute segments so you can upload those straight to youtube.

Either that or use the editing program to splice all the files into one long video file, but you might have trouble finding a place to host it.

If you do get this far, get the file size to 500mb and host it to www.gamerstube.com, or send it to me if its 600mb and ill put it on the Moddb site.

If not, shoutcasts do include audio casts. You dont need to do a video. I dont think i made that clear. lol.

We have done a shoutcast, which is to be played in the background as you watch a replay, is that ok? We figured it was common on GR so should be fine here too. Ill upload it in a minute its just exporting atm.

Edit: There is some echo, which is regreatable, however it does get slightly better after the first few minutes of me speaking. So please try to bear with it. Our next one should be better. Any comments welcome.
