heat rounds sucks honestly.

Good point, quite a lot of stuff in the current Blitzkrieg sucks.

And about this:

Quote
1) First off, you ignored like 80% of my points.

What kind of monkey response should I give to stuff like:

Quote
Calling something 'tank superiority' and then giving buffs to grens?  Rly?

Deeeeerp. The name is bad?

2) thats almost your entire doctrine dedicated to something that won't be as great as old zeal + ferocity
3) Medikits @ 125% is a nerfed.
4) No they are not.
5) Do you realize how little damage the mg42 does? If it was doing a lot of damage, it would get a lot of kills. It doesnt. Once they are supressed the damage drops considerably.
6) 17% less penetration should be a T3 unlock? Really?
7) Derp.
8 ) Derpderp.

Axis Doctrines really should be more clearly defined.

That is the root of the issue, no axis doc has the sequential buffs to the same unit as many times for as much total bonus as the allied doctrines provide. It's why the P4 gets its ass kicked in by an Armor Sherman, nevermind a Sherman Upgun or M10.

Also, with the new Armor Doc maybe we should revert the Sherman 76mm RoF change.

Axis needs clearly defined doctrines, Armor, Infantry, Storm.

Terror becomes and Armor Doc, Defensive gets Arty and Support Weapons, Blitz stays with combined arms bonuses and gains Stormtrooper units and buffs instead of armor buffs and takes on the role of Axis "Airborne"; hard to kill elite infantry doctrine.

No, Luftwaffe is PE. They are like commandos, hard hitting, and die fast =p.

I didn't say make a Blitz Stormies paradrop, hence the quotations. Make Blitz similar to the AB doctrine in how it introduces units and increases Stormies abilities.

While I would love something like that, I'm wondering how hard it might be to balance. Normal AB are bad at fighting infantry for their cost and are pretty much just for anti-tank, whereas Stormtroopers are a versatile unit that can rape both infantry and tanks depending on how they're upgraded.

How is that different than AB and AB Rifles?

so tell me smokaz, is there even a 1% chance you'll run anything other than ferocity if this doctrine goes in?  The entire bottom tree consists of 'buff units that I use a lot and want buffed because it fits my playstyle.'

125% means 2.25,   not 25% to me.  My bad.

Really? extra range and essentially doubling vet bonuses that are already quite good isn't OP?  You can say that with a straight face?

The 17% isn't the problem, its the 150% speed buff that makes it a t3 worthy unlock.

If they are "ALL OP" I might play the others yes?

You mean 225%?  Angry

150% speed for 60 hp. On a p4 thats ~10% of the tank's health, for a single use. And it was intended to be usable only with engine damage - so the tank is already damaged. (added that)

About middle T4: Take A grenadier for example. At vet 3 he'd have ~97 hp instead of 88. Big woop. And you have to earn it.

Just for the record Smokaz, if you add 125%, then you've got 225%, and that's generally assumed with a percentage stated like that. It'd be much more clear if you simply stated 1.25x.

T1
Fighting retreat.
Probably unable to code, and T2 strength
Suggestion:  Replace.

Other T1s are interesting - buffing the flamer HT, nice - noone uses those fuckers cept Puddin' to grief.

T2
Steady hands
Animation increase may fuck with things, but otherwise fine.
Suggestion: Test and possibly replace specified buff

T3
Nice synergy between the three - however it is a bit Tank heavy (which is probably intentional), and the T4s will be the Infantry aspect of Terror.

T4
Unfortunately, this is where things went a bit pear-shaped Smokaz ;P

Heavy Support
This T4 buff is fairly weak in general - yet the buff to snipers is OP.
Suggestion: Change the sniper reduced damage into reduced received acc, Buff/Alter other aspects slightly.

Heroes of Germany
Due to how Veterancy is going to change - this is unfortunately a flat out no.
Suggestion: Need to change the buffs to specific units / unit-lines

Ferosity
Will now conflict with/duplicate Heroes of Germany (Infantry specific buff)
Suggestion: Id change to a non-infantry buff (possibly a T3 moved up), and this moved to a T3.

Unlocks
Very well thought out / balanced Unlock tree (in my opinion)

Overall
The 3 top table trees are tweakable to make a very enjoyable Terror experience.
The T3s and T4s need worked / swapped around to create a better horizontal AND vertical synergy in theme and balance however.

Yours Truely

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Not true at all, I have three of them and I've seen Smokaz use them before too. I fucking love these things, they're really good for their low cost of just 40 fuel.

Its not the fuel that makes me cry. Its the 280 manpowers that I could invest better on a Gren or a volksquad that will dish out better damage and recrew something. With Every granny to mother getting Boys AT rifles and bazookas these things are just as good as dead already

It's rare that I see vanilla grenadiers get more kills than a flammenwerfer halftrack, they dish out some pretty goddamn amazing damage. Two flamethrowers for 260 manpower as opposed to four grenadier K98s for 240 manpower. Maybe if bazookas and Boys AT were as common as you say they would be bad, but I find Boys AT to be extremely rare and bazookas to not be a problem unless there's a  blob of them, in which case.... yes, sending a vehicle into a blob of anti-vehicle is a bad idea that won't get you many kills.

What scrubs are you playing against that have no AT on the field at all? Two ATG shots, or a volley of AT weapon fire, and you're gone.
In literally every instance, I'd rather have a Puma which is not only tougher and more likely to dodge, but also able to dish out more damage and kite the enemy.

The only time I've seen Flammen HTs work is when you bumrush 3+ of them together at the enemy, and that's only because you can overwhelm their AT before you lose your last Flammen.
They're pretty much never cost effective, and it's always a suicide unit.
