We will be reworking the repair system to make it significantly more flexible in use. But we are not reverting to the old engi/pio based system.

Hard capping officers has not broke the game. I repeat, hard capping officers has not broke the game.

My only issue with hard capping officers is the odds that tanks snipe them, but hey thats just luck, hard capped officers are fine.

Hardcapping officers only works because they have been in vCoH and thus should remain, support elements. Something that you should not have your company revolve around and still be able to function.

That being said, this solution does not work for everything. We can have a more elegant system that restricts spam yet allows customization of company.

The availability system is only 1/2 working atm. It hasnt been touched since it was implemented (and there were flaws) but the idea was there and it did 80% of the work.

We just gotta refine this system and a few other things like Tanks holding (not capping) territory to make blobs useless or uneconomical.

I play RCA now, all i have is captian with FOO... 2 of the Earthshakers and a 25pdr


i rarely spam anything, the last few games i have run about half the game with a few infantry, 57mm to hold a area and operate with just my cromwells thru the battle.

so, ya, i dont really blob.. the only company i really blobbed was AB.

the off maps are just really powerful and need a tone down imo. as for blobbing, there's blobbing on both sides. i've seen storm blobs, commando blobs, ranger blobs, rifle blobs, pg blobs, volks blobs, gren blobs, support blobs, tank blobs, arty blobs, nebel blobs, hummel blobs (Gorkhali) etc. etc.

The fact is the allies have less variety in its infantry than the axis do so instead of being able to do like wehr and have a choice between volks, grens, kch and for blitz stormtroopers or for PE they've got pgs, assault grens, tank busters, luftwaffe and fj's

the amis get Rifles...then rangers and airborne
Brits get Tommys (Canadian Inf) and Commando

so it seems like the allies blob more but thats only because of the limited unit choices, in a way the allies NEED to blob because their infantry dont' stand well alone vs axis infantry, especially now that grens get 2x lmgs back, i can't tell u what a horror those are.

So, axis get more versatile choices and different types of infantry, while the allies get more specialized infantry.

It's all in how u like things. i like specialization, so i stick with my allies, even when i play as wehre i go all volks cuz im used to playing as Americans.

Tym, you fail. PGs are all the same, its like if they made a BAR Rifle squad, a Rifle Squad, and a AT Rifle Rifle squad.

Only way it looks different is in the launcher. Thats like saying you get Rangers, SMG Rangers, Zook Rangers, and SMG + Zook Rangers.

Everyone just seems to be in tune to their own particular imbalance in the mod that they find distressing.

They are all pretty much valid and will be addressed in turn by the balance team. (They've been crackin lately)
 Next balance patch should be ready to go very soon. As always, Unknownz will put out the notes when it's ready.

Yes you are.

You're missing:

1. 3x Captains w/ FOO
2. 3x 25 Pdrs w/ Creeping Barrage
3. 2x Earthshaker Offmap
4. 2x Airburst Offmap

Guarateed lols. This will effectively clear out at least 3,900 MP worth of units assuming that FOO & 25 Pdrs are used once and that 2 volk squads will be annihilated with each arty strike (It actually always kill more than 390MP.... in its life time usage. Earthshakers and airburst also kills more than 2 squads worth per drop)
