As most of you guys know the all mighty bob will be releasing the tank hunters doctrine soon but as i was i started wondering, what should i pick?

i am thinking about picking panzerjager for the better firepower for my Wonderful hetzers but as most know they cant stand a fight do to their meh armor and turnspeed and the worst of all they dont have an turret.

my other choice is to pick salvaging for in the teir 4 you get X3 fixing speed and you get 100 free munitions for the bergtiger, this could help me alot sence then i would be able to use my tanks in shitty territory and when they would get damaged i would be able to send them back and use the bergtiger to give them a repair kit so if i would use them well i would be able to use the same tank for the whole battle.


so i am now at a stopping point, what should i get?
should i go for the increased firepower?
should i go for the better repeare rate, more health for my tanks and a couple of free repreare kits?

so what do you guys think?

BoB just got done with his vacation :p. No idea how long Tank Hunters will take, but it shouldn't be more than a week. I plan on doing the last 4 doctrines one after another. Hopefully I'll finish by February.

When I get the chance I'm all over the bergetiger. I'm a tank player by nature and keeping my vehicles in the fight is the best thing for me

I used to be a all tankhunters company, but if i go middle T4 wich sounds awsome, what ever will I do against infantry? Good old G43 slow then charge with assault grenadiers with incid nade?

Wouldn't elite frontal criticals be a bad thing too? Sure you have a small chance to survive a sticky, but you also are more prone to criticals like Engine Damage, main gun, secondary weapon loss and stuff like that.

Are you sure elite frontals are actualy GOOD for TH, especialy when mobility(engine damage) is the key to victory as without it they are useless pieces of shat? Oh well I guess we can repair it fast enough with 3x the repair speed >.< But I would NOT pick it just as a T3 without getting the repair T4

Hetzers have amazing armour, it's second only to Jagdpanther. Except against Pershing, Pershings have anti-Hetzer hacks and penetrate them with zero problems.

About Airborne, I think they've found their perfect balance as they currently stand. The Airborne Sniper is a bit too strong, but besides that, RR's are perfectly balanced in their current form. I'd highly recommend leaving them until last simply due to the fact that traditionally AB seems to be the most problematic doctrine when it comes to balance.

Its scary how well you can do with just the offmaps and some vetted ab, ab rifles etc. You get the sniper and the medic too, and you are just fine. It's telling for how immense the AB doctrine will probably turn out :/

Then again, all the current offmaps and stuff that they have are extremely overpowered already. Bombing runs do way too much damage (Easily kill half health panthers with 1 or 2 bombs), Airborne snipers don't die, support teams can break suppression as a T1 for 10 more mu each and can drop anywhere on the map in 30s. In 25 games I haven't seen anyone bring a cost effective, viable counter to 2 AB snipers.

As an avid AB player for the last two years, I would like to suggest that this doctrine buffs OTHER guns and units besides RR's. Eg, buffing callin timers, sight on support units, purchasable upgrades such as volks mines etc. for riflemen, AB Rifle leader gains free bar etc.

None of this AB +30% dmg, +30%pen, +6 pop trolololo ability
