As of now, the Stuart and Stag serve a kinda similar purpose. Yes the stuart gets more penetration and has damage modifiers but those are mainly against PE vehicles and I don't want to have to switch out stag's for stuart's just cuz i'm playin PE. Right now the main gun is exactly similar the prices for the units are similar so when you go to make a decision, who's going to go with the stuart over a stag?

So, I propose making it a better anti vehicle weapon and really differentiating it from the staghound.

Range 40 to 45 - It ensures getting off a first shot, helps in kiting vehicles and it's not that big of a buff that it will break anything, just make it more useful.

Lower Scatter Angle - It will ensure more hits even if it's not rolled. Also making it different than the stag.

Lower Acc vs Infantry - Let the stag be the infantry killer and the stuart the vehicle killer.

Reload? - right now its 6 max 5 min. Maybe make it 5.5 flat. Stag is 6.5

That's all I can think of. I think with these changes, it will change it's role a little more but not break anything so that if you choose a Stuart over a Stag, you feel like you're actually getting a different unit.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Why would you make it 45 range? Thats longer than the STuG. It currently has the SAME gun as the 50mm Upgun Puma, why should it get a better one?

to make it different dude, thats the whole point. Who wants mirror units, it'd be the only vehicle of its type to have that type of range and it doesn't break anything just ensures a first shot.

Then the Puma is faster and has phase armor making it really hard to hit.

It's also not the same gun as the 50mm puma, puma does 2.75 more damage, and same penetration. Could've sworn I've seen you argue against mirror units before, so if this is basically the same gun as the 50mm Puma, why wouldn't you want to see it different?

um.. cromwell?

that's a medium tank, read the post i am proposing changes so it's not the same type of vehicle as the stag but basically a stag without a .50cal and more penetration. I never ever seen Stuarts being used

to be honest i like the stuart fine the way it is

you use 'em?

Because a gun that penetrates reliably, does ok damage and outranges medium tanks is going to be broken?

I mean do you want 45 range Puma's or Hotchkiss upguns?

45 ranged Stuarts rofl. They outrange every regular tank with 40 range ahaha. I'd snipe P4s and kill them without them being able to touch my stuarts

you guys do realize m10s and m18s have 45 range, do you out range tanks wwith those and not get hit? its merely a first shot range buff not a o noes u can't hit me buff if i wanted that i'd say 50

hotch has 45, has faster rof and is faster than a stuart. my proposal would make it less reliable against infantry and still have a slower rof but a little faster than the puma.

the only doc i see using the stuart now is commandos with canister shot otherwise rca wont use em nor will engineers unless it gets an ability as well.

infantry crush. i've seen you use your m10 company.

the stuart also has half the damage and less health. 45 range would not break it. like i said, hotch upgun has 45 range i dont see them kiting tanks.

He actually rofl'd every possible axis tank with 40 range that wasn't a panther with his m10s.

Commandos can have two canister shots, stags are pretty good but with the recent changes you might as well use cromwells.

They are still balanced units and do not need a buff. They are still better than upgunned puma, stug and hotchkiss.

upgun puma will win with stuart because thanks to pumas armor stuart will miss 1 or 2 shots and puma will kill it.

stug wins, more hp , better gun, better armor, you just kite stuart.

hotch has longer range and faster firing gun , it will out dps stuart making 2-3 more shots and kill it.

And knowledge of Myst's company usage award goes to none other than speedy today.

If you get hit by an enemy tank while using an M10 without specifically wanting to engage him at shorter range (be it due to lack of a spotter, shitty pathing or just not being bothered), or it being a Panther - you fail.

But this is a 65 dmg light tank that will penetrate a lot not a 150 dmg tank destroyer that's going to penetrate most shots, you still have to get rear and side shots with the stuart. atm having 40 range doesn't help it, you may as well have it at 35 cuz the way its used is still as a flaking unit vs tanks. 45 would make it a very good light vehicle killer but anyway.
