They should never have told anyone that they had level-scaling because some people are idiots. Level-scaling is such a small part of the game, 90% of the game is static levels and then the last 10% is level-scaling so that the game can still be difficult at level 50. There is no disadvantage to leveling up.
I do however kind of dislike Smithing. Mainly because many of the ingredients can be very easily found or bought. In earlier Elder Scrolls games you had to go through dungeons to find epic armors, in Skyrim you can just craft them. It's not a terrible idea, let's say for example that I'm missing a glass helmet to have a complete set, then smithing could be nice complement allowing you to craft it, if you find the materials for it. But currently it needs some balancing.

Another thing I noticed is that battle-cry is way too powerful. I dont like the fact that half of the armors are just ugly or feel lacking...
Yeah, some armors are pretty ugly unfortunately. Especially the Dragonplate and Orcish armors but also the Dwarven boots. But then again some armors are really good looking and also it's a 1st person game. I was playing skyrim but then dota2 happened. Oh snap
Dota2 hasn't been released, it's in private beta or something. |
