since  they  can  only  recrew one  piece  of abandon  equipment!


fair  enough keep assaults and  tank busters  at 5 pop,  but vanilla pgrens   should   be  at 4 pop imo.

afaik all main infantry is being aimed to be 5 pop , so it will stay 5 probably.

that would split the health on additional man , making every soldier die faster.  Maybe we should go other way around.

remove -1 man and increase HP even more , so it's hard to kill the 3 guys , but then they become sort of 'elite' and not main infantry.

all mainline  inf  is able  to recrew  2 pieces of abandoned equipmnet  while pgren  can only recrew  one!
you cant  just  make'em   same pop imo. it makes  no sense what so ever.
maybe   we could  get a veteran sgt upgrade  to  grant an extra member ,  and  than 5 pop  is acceptable.

no , it could be tweaked so no one dies just hp falls down.

for example:

they have 300hp as a squad , and 100 hp per man (3 men)

1 sherman shot takes 87hp.

No one would die , but the HP would only fall down,   give them medkits , and you can go away and heal.

small changes yield little to no effects to be noticable  in-game, ofcourse it's a drastic example of what could be done to make a unit useful.

sure. 25% hp for ab save them from death from 1 p4 shot (vet + doc etc).

its very strange proposal for squad too.


I think Pzgren rework was a mistake anyway. PE needs pak and mortar (usual recrewable with long range) to stand a line with this kind of infantry, but we already have WH with grens, paks and mortar.
For now PE inf coy cant be offensive (exept FJ) because every AI stuff can kill\ supress them, but PE cant play defensive.
Nondoctrinal PE is in deadlock now.
