Yay, I find more ways to be annoying on the forums to the mods :3
Tbh that aint gonna do anything but get you banned it much more productive if you could list ways for the balance team to help clean up a failed leap of faith rather than QQing and rage quiting other wise you just let brn on his own runining it further

like armour change for Pgrens or extra health

or lower cost for shreck

ive seen you mention these prolems but not in a way that anyone would take you seriously

The balance team is, however, but retreating wont solve the problem of their shenanigans. It will only ultimately make the mod more likely to die.

what do you want me to do?
shall i stay and try to help you get into power?
if so how?
every post i make makes no sence and my points of veiwe is quite neutral.
most  people in the comunity probobly dont know about me so if i would be trying to make a point it would not make any diffrence.
if you want someone that everyone knows and love go get EIR mod and get him to help you get into power.
sure i guess i can continue playing EIR but it makes no sence for most of my tactics dont work that well due to the change.
sure you could say that i should just get used to the change for change is inevitable but why should i like a change that made perfectly balenced units into weak and useless force that cant even fight a lone riflemen squad.
makes no sence and i dont want to do so.
srsly i just went back to OMG mod to play some and the assult grens there last longer out of cover than in EIR.
sure i will probobly stay and play for i have alllways liked the mod and most people have allways been nice to me .
go get someone else to help you make your point for i am  not good enough for the job.
well good luck getting into power.

allso tankhunters anyone?

I'm in the middle of your picture
Lying in the reeds

I'm a moth
Who just wants to share your light

I'm just an insect
Trying to get out of the night

I only stick with you
Because there are no others

You are all I need

Icelandic I want no part of the balance team or any kind of official position. Not that one would ever be forthcoming as I've definetely shown I'm not going to tone down my rhetoric when someone does something I disagree with, but it stands to be mentioned all the same.

It would compromise my ability to be the ethical police around here. I support the mod, and I support what it can be, but if I become part of the team then I would almost certainly lose my ability to see it objectively and it would probably hinder with my willingness to say what I feel.

I think I can serve EiR better as an unofficial sheriff than anything else.

then who do you want to take power?
if you wont take it even though you have some to alot of people in the comunity supporting you.
you just gonna take everything down and then have the community get a useless setup and be forced to recreate the corrupt setup that allready is here?

Wind just gave me an interesting though. Sheriff eh... how about we have a bicameral balance team! Both teams can propose changes, but the other team needs to approve them and if they don't like the changes proposed they can tweak them and send them back to the team that originated the change. Once there is a consensus the change is added to the next patch. If there is no consensus the balance proposal just dies. And of course there's EIRRMod to veto any change he doesn't like. This second balance team could be 10 players who are voted into this position by their peers for a period of one patch cycle. Then they go up for reelection afterward. If they did a good job, they'd be in. If not... then they'd be replaced. The transparency would lie in giving everybody access to whatever hidden balance forum the balancers use, but they would be unable to post... we could call it the Freedom of Information Forum. Of course there would be lobbyists in the faction fanboi's, but surely our balancers would rise above that kind of influence because EIR would be the greatest mod out there with the greatest players with the most integrity. Seriously, I can't think of anywhere on the planet that has a system like this. There's absolutely no way this would fail miserably.

Yep... I'm a genius.

Wind is right btw. He'd use the power of balancer for good. At first. Power corrupts. The One Ring taught us that.

Everything he said

You sound like you have just proposed a House of Commons to complement the House of Lords.

Killer344 being moderator will become the Leader of the House of Lords and Wind can become Leader of "Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition".

EiRRMod can be Prime Minister and the old devs can be the royal family.

You don't happen to be british are you?

American. The only kind of 'can that matters.

We players demand representation! To long have we suffered under the oligarchic rule of the balance elite!

They are adding more players to the balance team. They've already added a few individuals I'm quite proud of.

So don't worry about not being heard, because they are listening.

That doesn't mean more work still remains to be done, and I don't know how willingly that work will be accepted.

A publicly posted balance team is essential as far as I'm concerned.

Also, a publicly posted code of conduct that eliminates the possibility for people to vote on armies they don't play is also essential.

These are the last two must-haves that need to be in place before I can lay down my sherrifs hat. I don't care if they are the proposals straight from my Code of Conduct, or if they come up with a system of their own that achieves the same affect. EiR needs this to get back on track.

Tbh, you Wind seem to get all this info from certain devs. Perhaps the rest of us should also be told or do loud mouths get more attention ?

I've been arguing that the balance team roster and their practices should be made common knowledge to the entire mod since my very first post.

Unfortunately that is not my call to make. I can only push for it and hope they make the right decision.
