Well, I've always been Infantry ever since vCoH. None of the other doctrine trees look appealing.

I think before everyone was trying to get tons of pershings but now you can only 1. Pershing are only good if they have infantry support or have 2 pershings with it.

I started with airborne originally and then messed around with ifantry in 1.7 but im back playing the doctrine i love

I fell in love with airborne in vCoH. Airborne squads are a fantastic, multi-talented invention.
And in EiR, when it comes to Hit and Run tactics, airborne are the allied ultimate.

Just my personall feeling.
Out of the top 20, only 6 are Airborne. 11 are infantry 3 are Armour. I'd say Infantry are the more popular doctrine choice because it easy to start of as Infantry, you gain some good doctrine choices early (like rangers). Airborne get better after a while into EiR, you need to invest a little to get the full Airborne feel. Armour is more a heavy investment company, you need to get those good doctrine choices to put more and more tanks onto the field. |

Yeah and Im armor too, Just impossible to play 1.8 good with armor. or 1.8 at all.
