i see 1 main road that goes through the city and how big and for how many players should i make ,i  looked for fotos in the internet but most of them r real fuzzy  very difficult to see  anything clearly,i did looked at google earth and it seems not too much has changed since the ww2, i will post whne i get the basics

Number 1, do not make the map to scale. Too many buildings and way too big.

Use the layout for the most part, but do the buildings in an abstract way (fewer buildings representing more buildings). Don't get bogged down trying to make it an exact replica.

maybe try to scale it down? That way you can still keep the elements of the town realistic, but without making the map massive.

i will try my best, i have collected a lot of fotos as u said i am not gonna put so many buildings and i am thinking about 2v2 or 3v3  Grin  first i am gonna start building then i will make the final decision when it is finished, thx for the suggestion tho..

If u just make it like villers bocage but with MUCH less buildings, wider streets and the fields around the city more open it will work.

Most players around here just spam shit.

Just make the map like the lower right corner of your photo ( just above the word Google )

Then put a giant shot blocker in the middle of the map so 88's are not OP.

Everybody will play your map and Unknown will put it in the launcher.

Then next fucking Christmas when the Warmap beta comes out, we can make the whole campaign around your map and all the whiny bitches who can't learn to play with out spamming shit will be happy.

OR

we could make things like they used to be. When attack & defend were the only options and were random. Then everybody had to build companies capable of either situation. eliminating most, if not all, completely gimmick companies.
Make the maps random as well and people will have to learn to play real strategies instead of gimmicks.

OR

Just continue the way it is now. I have lost all interest in playing this mod. Complete lack of development. No communication in regards to promises made. Incomplete doctrine reworks.......
Now we have map instructions that basically tell you to build all maps to look like tante

Seriously, WTF is going on with this mod?

There seems to be confusion here. My thread about map templates, no matter how accurate, was sarcasm. Only 1 of my maps fits that theme, the rest are either not in the launcher because they are too different or they are in and don't get played, because they are different.

clone maps suck. we have alot of maps, but they are just decoration. Really interesting maps like Monte Casino are not popular, because u it too hard to change usual tactics depending from map for most part of players ("sector sistem of monte suck!" you say - no, its just simulates some combat situations).

I apologize, I missed the sarcasm. In fact, I really should have known better coming from you.
Unfortunately, the truth is, only the maps that fit your sarcasm are played or receive support; but it's not really the maps or the map makers fault. It's the way the game is played that creates the core issues.
But my issues with this mod really belong in a different thread.
