Same, pretty bored of always having to make counter spams to other spams, its no fun anymore becuasse i cannt play with what i want to play because its not good enough to stand up to all the spam and gimmicks these days.

I did the oppisite you are gonna do.

When i got good at Inf Doctrine I Got bored of it and went Hetzer spam.
And now i am bored of that so i went AVRE Spam.

Ranger spam FTW and now PE gren sprint spam FTW!

Bren Spam
P4 Spam
And many more.

Who knows maybe i will start using real tactic Sooner or later.

Tbh i Have never used P4s or Tommy recons Or Sappers exept as a startin callin and with flamers, Pe Gren Sprint spam i have used but got bored off Really quick and hetzerspam to but Fuck that spam sucks if you are facing atguns.
Crocspam is Heavily unrelyable due to the Flames dont kill most of the time or sometimes None of the time.
Never used brens exept to point out how spammy and gimmicy over repair with them is.
commando spam i have used and Raped with due to the "cheap" price and manoverability.

I once talked to a British Warhammer 40k Fan. I looked at the table top and then begun to spread out EIRR tactics. "Man, why don't you just...spam Imperial Guards. When one team has quality shite and a tank, you have millions of Imperial Guards, just charge at the enemy, all your infantry can destroy a tank with regular firing so who bothers with tanks anyway? If that's what people are playing ad their listsvthen you have a very crappy gaming community, the closesest one near me^ usually have very fun and casual lists instead of usual spam =P

You can do 9 Russes in Tournament, it's 3 squadrons of 3.

Currently 40k is all about AV13+ and Mech spam with all infantry using Melta equivalents or PFists.

Fantasy, while still having some really lame shit, is much better, and maneuver and strategy reign over building your list to maximize the broken aspects.

Yeah but if everyone spams melta, AV13+ wont do much good...

The reason for the AV13+ is to prevent long ranged weapons from killing much first turn. The majority of things becomes nearly useless.

Lets say I am running a Mech Marine list with Combi Preds. I can pop heavy armor ok at long range with lascannons, I have a pile of marines in rhino's with melta/mm/pfist. You can ignore most incoming fire (negates anything thats Str 5 or less) and only have to worry about stunning/shaking heavy armor until your squads get in close.

It also allows rapid redeployment to capture/contest objectives as needed.

Other builds include 3 Land Raiders/Stormravens, etc.

I miss my elf army, althou its fun painting my new brettonian army, fantasy is just so mush more fun than 40k, ofc, orks are depicted as more of a total MORON in 40k since at least in fantasy they are respected, but in 40K hell just let them blow them selfs up and there RED cars

Wouldn't that build suck vs Tyranids tho? All inf get locked in assaults, melta wont do much good against Tyranids and monstrous creatures that rips apart tanks?

Nids only have a handful of effective ranged AT. Focus on those at the start of the game. Once gone, you can run circles around a Nid list with any mech list.
