All officers share a single timer, not sure if its a bug or intended.

intended. you must've missed the patch notes.

speaking of officer barrage, why does the captain stay vulnerable while the artillery comes down and the officer is able to move as soon as its fired, heck it can even die or run away while the mortars are coming down and the barrage is 30 mu cheaper and officer 10 mu cheaper.

I think this gives it a distinct advantage over the captain where you have to be really careful with captains when u put it down while the officer u can fire while under fire because it also has more health.

captain barrage is so much stronger.. it's like arty

10 mu cheaper.. maybe because he can only supervise one unit at a time, while cpt buffs everyone (am I right? i dont play brits), on that note what is captain's buffs?

and you mean cpt cant move until the full barrage is done? that's weird

what happens if i have 2 officers on the field, and one is vet 3? does the shorter cool down over ride the longer cool down?

Also thats true, capt arty is like 105 rounds i believe, officers is just mortar rounds.

it still sux though that it takes so long to move when it comes down and it comes down really slow too. cuz u got the flare, delay, then they shells drop.

The arty should take longer no matter what it is, and should not suppress or pinn if it kills troops.

Rocket Barrage on the other hand is click, smoke, boom. Theres no chance to get out of it.

are we talking about officer mortar barrage, or defensive offmap rocket arty?

and tym you should try rocket barrage you set it down, flares come down, and 1 second later the barrage starts, about the same as FOO, it just seems faster because the enemy's doing it..
