They had loads of chances to flank past the 1 mg in the side, there were even 2 holes that they chould have gone trough, they had a mortar that they could have used to destroye the wire withc dies in around 3-4 hits by a shell but yea well indeed something stuff(they should have been more aggressive for we had the majoerty of the land for most of the time so yea.
 lets hope EIR mod fixes attack and defence fast for i enjoy to attack defences for one.

All I can say is...

WHY DIDN'T YOU CAP THE FREAKING SECTOR ON THE RIGHT AXIS?!?!?!?!

Or flank? Or, or, or.... Fuck man, that was not how I hoped that would go down.

I for one was suprised there wasn't more probes along the front by the axis.  The far right of the axis advance did only have 1 mg nest and some bared wire/tank traps holding there.  Taking some time to scout the other sectors would have helped them immensely.  They did us (Allies) a big favor attacking in the same sector over and over again.

We were pretty bad that game even with what we were given so no excusing the failure. However I do think the scenario was slightly stacked against us.

For starters when playing attack/defense the attackers need a good start, our starts were frankly shit, we could've done better with them but they were still shit. Secondly, attackers need access to either tanks, smoke or mass arty. We had nowhere near enough arty to match the amount of mortars the allies had, no smoke at all and no access to tanks until too late in the game. You really do need one of these options to break heavy emplacements effectively. Lastly on a side note, I think that map had something to do with it because you don't usually get outcapped in 10 minutes even on defense.

Other than that the attackers just need to be co-ordinated, that was our own failure. Tbh having played attack/defensive extensively in old eir before the new modes, I think the attackers have a huge advantage due to being able to concentrate their forces on spread out defenders, we just didn't do that.

EDIT- I've just been told we did have a mortar, but I never saw it so I assume it wasn't used very well.

Well the mortar did hurt alot of my shit and i lost alot trying to kill it but it died to an arty i think.

I was deathly afraid the dual snipers were going to screw us up but, they didn't push into our territory enough to start to make a real difference.  A couple of lucky mortar hits eventually killed at least 1.

BTW, to add to the grumblings... I managed to screw up 2 of my vickers emplacements so they didn't get built right as part of my first deploy.  So, technically, so guys got it a litter easier...

There was not a single at peace there at all 1 mine that was in that single passage but that was all, all of our at was at the place you guys decided on attacking over and over again but not on the sides, allso why did you guys not just destroy the wire on the other flank? yes there WAS a bofor there but i did nto see a single mine there and better yet there was NO Not a single at peice there so you guys could have just taken the zrecks and blown up the wire and wola you could flank us.
 we could not attack for we were suppose to defende so no worry about cappin your terr and yet you guys just sat there going trough the same gap over and over and over again and still you whine about it.
