Now, now. Everyone knows that the reason the faust was nerfed was primarily because of me and my followers. Fausts needed the nerf.

And to be fair - volks are still useful. Slow mines, grenades with defensive, assault with blitzkrieg... It's all very useful outside of just being used for faustspam.

Also, Nug. Yes - two squads of PIATs CAN kill a P4 in two volleys - but the fact of the matter is that they won't. Something as basic as reversing will ensure that the P4 will dodge most, if not all, the PIAT shells - and at long range the PIAT shells have a very high chance to bounce, even if they do hit.

A singular PIAT squad being able to beat any tank up to the panther on it's own? Really? I don't believe that is going to happen.. You might be able to kill a StuG if it doesn't have an MG, but not much else.

eh, 2 squads as everyone has squads of 2.   Kill stug ? no problem , p4 ? no problem    panther ? no problem, all pe vehicles ? be my guest

I had times when with 1 salvo from 2 piat squads  that is 4 piats  panther was left with half hp because all piats went in from side or top.

P4 - no. Unless the P4 is charging the PIATs, which just shouldn't happen in the first place. Same can be said about the panther. It takes very basic vehicle micro skills to dodge PIATs - skills that I actually assumed you had, Nug - having seen your Tiger and StuH useage.

PIATs are already horribly outphased by 6pdrs. Nerfing them would only serve to remove the unit from the game outright, other than as gimmicks aboard bren carriers every once in a while.

I meant when i played with piats vs those tanks.


and also -  target ground , watch moving away tank take 100% hits , something that you cannot do with any other handheld, as the weapon 'hit or miss' does not apply at this point vs unit. If the tank is in the way and is touched by the piat , damage is counted.

Really? I've been sticking to what I knew and that was Volk+Faust spam. I thought something different then before.

Maybe, perhaps, nug - it is a case of your enemies needing to L2P and dodge the PIATs? I mean, try using just 2 PIAT squads to kill a P4 that's being used by me. Without the addition of a 6 pdr to support you - killing the P4 is just not going to happen.

Faust now costs 50 mun and gives 3 uses, is all.

but with attack ground you can predict the movement of the tank and hit it, which would not happen on normal attack.

true, but that is only really useful if the tank is at less than.. say - 20 range. At maximum, or near maximum range (where the tank should be if it's being used well) - it's not going to help you.

30 mun 2 uses Vet 2 additional use, doct 4 additional use.

PIATs are strong, I love them, richman's riflenades and can engage tanks safely without no harm coming their way. A squad with 4 PIATs...oh my. 1 shooting pretty much a lot of shit Cheesy

Sappers w. PIATs can be killed by a rampaging WM Volks-butterfly or the deadly PE 'RabbitKnacker'. They freaking die to mystical creatures guys. They SUCK on AI, a lucky mortar shell and it's gg. You should keep your tanks away from hedges etc, and you're fine. They might bag a stug. P4? No, theyre fucked. Panther vehicle crush, anyone? StuH...yeah, I dont even need to say anything. Pumas when moving > sappers.

Commando PIATspam is, however, abuse in my eyes considering the considerable AI that commandos can wield, plus the fact that they are so easy and effective to blob and with all of the paits you'll have, they start to become effective AI weapons. That, IMO, is a noteworthy topic of VALID discussion devoid of trolls.
