that might not be a bad idea, even though it kinda does limit your first callin buildt.

Which is 100% a bad thing. Stop catering to people who can't learn how to use thier units.

What it always comes down to its a 12 pop tank can ALWAYS be countered by a 12 pop of other stuff.

If you made tanks not allowed to be called on to a certain time point, the mod would be come repetitive as hell.

I guess there would emerge few very strong builds, and everyone would use them, because why use something else which wont be so effective against inf.

change:   upgun puma should have a higher chance to hit m8 and other light vehicles,  currently it's loosing to m8 because out of 10 shots 6 are missing.

puma in general should get a bit love,it just fails compared to stag/t17/m8.

My own 2 cents:

Axis - As much as I think the puma needs love, if I had a choice I'd like to see some improvements done to the P4 to make it more viable on the field.

Allies - Tank Reaper Zooks, Single SMG back to zook package on Anti-inf line, or weapon package options for rangers... something for rangers basically and I would be happy XD

You buy zooks for the AT component, not the AI, that's like giving Airborne an LMG with all RR purchases, or giving KCH a shrek for the hell of it!

Well zooks in their current state are really only decent against vehicles, and even then without TR takes way too many shots to kill light vehicles.  For their general suckiness, I would like my one SMG to give it some ability to fight infantry for giving up the 'improved' crap zooks off the T4.

And I do agree, P4s do need some love to give one an incentive to use them... with how powerful axis inf is (blitz or terror with impressive 'buffs', and defensive lacking a real armor pool to use P4s...), there is little reason to use them in the current state of things.

Yes, if p4's got some love, you'd see less Tigers, which is a win win for all lol.

imo, heavies shouldn't really get a lot of buffs if any in doc design, they're already pretty strong. Sight bonuses, speed, incoming damage, incoming accuracy, things like that ok but accuracy, damage, things that directly affect the units battle performance in terms of DPS shouldn't be added. Although, HVAP should affect pershings penetration but only because that puts it in the same class as super heavies but it doesn't make it better than them.

That way, you can provide more buffs to the units around it, like medium tanks, tank destroyers and light vehicles. Then again, I also feel that there truly shouldn't be damage buffs period to any unit in a doctrine, especially since most units get dmg buffs at vet 3.

Why would you ever want a 16 - 18 pop officer? Hello useless!

Heavy tanks are fine as is, buffs make them worth using over medium armor if you want to go all eggs in one basket style.

The issue is that P4's are worthless. I would prefer to use P4's over a KT/Panther combo, but I cannot justify their use in the current game. They can't fight other medium armor, die to a single M10, die to 2 ATGs in seconds, etc. For something that sucks down about 160mu + mp and fu that is just a huge waste. Much rather get a more durable tank that can fight something and use the Mu and Mp for my horde of infantry and support.

Fix the P4, reduce the cost of Skirt and MG, put the reload penalty back in on the Upgun Sherman and things might work out.

I would prefer to see more penetration bonuses for medium armor in the axis unlocks for blitz or terror, just to help them fight allied Armor mediums. Right now it's just stupid...

Thats what i'm saying AMPM, focus buffs more on medium tanks and less on heavies. ATM, the same buffs affect heavies, mediums and tank destroyers thus making heavy tanks more attractive because you're getting more out of the price.

If you do like a 30-70 on buffs between heavies and mediums then you'll make medium tanks more attractive while making heavies more useful but not so much so that they'll outweigh mediums.

That's not the issue Tym. The issue is just economics.

Tiger costs what 640mp 550fu, with double repair its 190mu

1 single P4 costs 400mp, 250 fu, which would be fine except....it costs 230mu with double repair. For less damage output vs all Targets, less HP total, less durability, etc.

The STuG costs the nearly the same for a double repair, and is worse than either of those, but at least it's light on pop.

Mu price for second repairs on mediums needs to drop for Blitz/Armor, Skirt/MG price needs to come down. Sherman gun needs to have it's reload penalty for the upgun.

ok lets see

normal p4 vs normal sherman will beat the crap out of that sherman.
pay 70-80 mu (i forget price) to upgrade gun, it should beat the p4
skirted the p4, and it's better all around defensively, takes less damage from shermans, atgs, less pen and dmg from hand held at.

to be honest dude, why shouldnt' an offensive upgrade that you pay munis for not beat a p4 1v1? before the penalty was removed, the upgun was nearly useless, you rarely saw it.

Why not just make the P4 cheaper?
