well, i went ahead and tried it.. seems pretty interesting, but takes a long time to get your stuff... i played for a few hours with multiple tanks.. who all here plays?

You have to take into account the clan is on the US server and some people will be on the EU server.

I used to play this game a lot, beginning after the second week it came out. The game is fun at first, but theres a lot of bullshit with the developers themselves. It seems like they cant get their act together and their method of balancing is complete nonsense. Who would balance a game according to three simple numbers. German tanks themselves are useless at top tier. Maus is too slow, making it an artillery bullseye and its armor is nothing spectacular. Did they even release clan wars yet (Cant use punctuation markings for some reason). Artillery is pure luck now. As stated earlier, the game feels way too much of a grind as the battles become so tedious at low to mid tier.
The German TDs themselves are a complete mess for high tier tanks. Devs first said that the camo issues on the Jagdtiger, ferdi and JP were just bugs that would be fixed... hasnt been fixed and probably wont be. Then they claimed that it was intentional, stating that they were to be assault guns. Jagdtiger has papermache armor (broken mantlet coupled with KT hull) while the Jagdpanther can barely take a shot. Then they proceeded to nerf the ferdi because it was good for its tier. If you want a TD, you might as well go for the t30 as it is more resilient than the top Russian TD. If you are adamant in going German TDs, stay at the ferdi.
You have two options for gold, you can either pay for it or earn it through clan wars. Not sure about the promo codes. Clan wars is supposed to use a world map that is divided into territories. The amount of gold you receive is dependent on the number of territories and the type of territories you control.

Yes, the stug is great considering you get the 105 troll cannon and the long barrel which is quite powerful for its tier. Being able to camo is a huge plus.

Fact: You don't get a better cannon then the 76mm on the Marder 2 until the StuG.
Russian T-34 with the Zis-4 57mm cannon is a wet dream. That is far and beyond the most effective gun in all of World of Tanks.

i will just work to the Panzer 3s, they are my favorite german tank, junk or not etc.. i will get the L60 50mm and the 75mm snubb, can you equip these tanks with skirts? the N with skirts is awesome looking. |

I enjoy it and they added more.
In all honestly spenfin a little cash, getting a preium account is well worth it, the 50% more xp and creds a game makes the prium pay for itself.
Thats how i look at it. Its more of an MMO but with first person tank carnage.

I think I'm going to stick at the grind tbh. It seems fun enough to be worth it. Going to get my Tiger upgrade the hell out of it, then get the KT and then make my way over to the Jadgpanther and finally make my way down the left side and get my Hummel. and pudding. I refuse to pay for WoT. Mainly because I hardly play it for it to be worthwhile (like 10~ battles a week on average?). So yeah, Tiger might take a while to get. I'm going upgrade the F' outta the Ltracktor at first thinking about it. Its just so much lol, specially when you destroy Tier 2 tanks with it xD |

I love my Tiger, it's a beast. Good armor, great gun, good maneuverability. Got mine fully upgraded, just need to buy the rammer.
