How much of this will affect EIRR?

We have received the all clear from the Quality Assurance team to release the next patch for Company of Heroes, which will update the game version to 2.602. We will be releasing the patch on Tuesday, May 24, after a brief maintenance window. The maintenance window is scheduled to last from 09:00 – 10:00 PST, which is 12 noon – 13:00 EST and 16:00 – 17:00 GMT, after which players will be prompted to update to the new patch when they log in to the game.

In addition, we will be performing a reset of our leaderboard that will affect all players that are rank 11 and higher. These players will have their ranks reset to 10. Players that are rank 10 or lower will not be affected by this reset. We will be performing the rank reset on Tuesday as part of the patch release.

Thank you for your patience and support in the creation of the patch, especially to those players that played in our beta. Your feedback has been invaluable.

I'm only going to post the notes i feel could effect us, the rest are here.

    Sappers with the Demolitions & Disposal upgrade are no longer negatively affected by the Lieutenants movement aura
    PE Armored Cars are no longer resistant to engine damage from mines
    Ranger Bazookas no longer drop with greater frequency than other slot items
    Snipers are now able to re-enter camouflage after a reasonable duration after exiting a building
    "Burst Fire" effects have been reduced on the Ostwind, Puma, and PE Armored Car
    Demolition Charges can now be targeted by weapons
    Stickybombs can now be interrupted by retreat commands
    Panzerfaust can now be interrupted by retreat commands

General

Speech

    Some speech files missing from Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite upgrades have been restored

Snipers

    Accuracy vs garrisoned units increased from 75% to 100%

Flamethrowers

    Damage vs units in open cover reduced from 1.0x to 0.85x
    Damage vs units in negative cover reduced from 1.0x to 0.75x
    Damage vs Soldier Armour reduced from 1.0x to 0.95x
    Damage vs buildings increased from 0.5x to 0.6x
    Infantry Flamethrower max damage reduced from 40 to 30, min damage increased from 15 to 25
    Sherman and Churchill Flamethrower max damage reduced from 40 to 35, min damage increased from 20 to 30
    Halftrack Flamethrower max damage increased from 30 to 35, min damage increased from 10 to 30

Grenades

    No longer have a chance to miss the targeted location

Abilities

    Weapon using Abilities can no longer be used while Pinned

American

Engineers

    Suppression threshold increased to match other infantry
    Suppression recovery threshold increased to match other infantry
    Upgrading with flamethrowers now increases your suppression modifier by 1.5x

Mortar

    Barrage scatter angle reduced from 15 to 10
    Set-up time reduced from 2.4s to 1.5s
    Pack-up time reduced from 2.8s to 1.9s

.30 Cal HMG

    Pack-up time reduced from 2.5s to 2.1s
    Ready aim time decreased from 0.3 to 0.1 (it will aim faster)

Anti-Tank Gun

    Accuracy vs Anti-Tank guns reduced from 0.5x to 0.1x
    Accuracy vs Infantry reduced from 0.15x to 0.05x
    Accuracy vs Snipers reduced from 0.15x to 0.02x
    Targeting priority vs Snipers reduced from 10 to 5
    Weapon health increased from 300 to 390

Sherman Crocodile

    Range increased from 20 to 25

M18 Hellcat

    Hellcat penetration at short range increased from .65x to .75x, medium range from 0.55x to 0.69x, and long range from 0.4x to 0.63x
    Target table now identical to the M10's
    Damage bonus from camouflage reduced from 2.0x to 1.5x
    Penetration bonus from camouflage reduced from 5.0x to 1.5x

Off Map Artillery

    Damage modifier vs Pak38s reduced from 2.0x to 1.33x

Jeep

    Received Accuracy from the Pak reduced from 1.0x to 0.75x
    Received Accuracy modifier from the Pak while moving reduced from 0.75x to 0.5x
    Received Damage from the 57mm ATG reduced from 1.0x to 0.5x

Strafing Run

    Significant changes to make Strafe more effective against groups of units and less effective against single units

Sticky Bombs

    Deflection Damage enabled, set to 50%
    Accuracy increased to prevent thrown Stickies from missing their intended target

T17

    Cooldown lowered from 2-2.5 to 0
    Reload increased from 1 to 3.5
    Health increased from 175 to 265
    Fixed an issue where the T17 had a harder time penetrating the rear armour of some vehicles
    Fixed an issue where the T17 would fail to penetrate Snipers

Wehrmacht

Pak 38

    Accuracy vs Anti-Tank Guns reduced from 0.5x to 0.1x
    Accuracy vs Infantry reduced from 0.15x to 0.05x
    Accuracy vs Snipers reduced from 0.15x to 0.02x
    Accuracy vs Shermans increased from 1.0x to 1.1x
    Accuracy vs Cromwells increased from 0.8x to 1.0x
    Accuracy vs Pershings increased from 1.08 to 1.15
    Targeting priority vs Snipers reduced from 10 to 5
    Weapon health increased from 300 to 390

Panzerschreck

    Accuracy vs M8 Greyhound Armour increased from 0.73x to 0.85x
    Accuracy vs M3 Halftrack Armour reduced from 1.0x to 0.85x

88mm Flak 36

    Acceleration increased from 1.7 to 2.5, Deceleration increased from 2.0 to 3.0

    Damage lowered from 250 to 185

Nebelwerfer

    Suppression radius reduced from 18 to 13.5

Assault Grenades

    Maximum damage lowered from 35 to 25, minimum damage lowered from 25 to 10
    Low health kill critical chance increased from 0% to 30%

Knights Cross Holders

    Now passively regenerate 21.12 Health per Minute
    Received Damage from BARs, Brens, and Thompsons reduced from 0.85x to 0.78x

Firestorm

    Damage vs 105mm Howitzers reduced from 1.0x to 0.35x

Goliaths

    Goliaths can no longer be Buttoned
    Goliath rotation speed increased from 45 to 65

Rocket Barrage

    Long AoE increment damage increased from 0.1x to 0.2x
    AoE accuracy increased to 100%

Panzerfaust

    Damage vs Bren Carriers increased from 1.3x to 1.45x
    Accuracy increased from 100% to 200% at all ranges
    Accuracy vs infantry halved

MG42

    Pack-up time reduced from 2.5s to 2.1s
    Weapon health increased from 300 to 390

Light MG42

    Drop chance reduced from 60% to 30%
    Long Range Accuracy increased from 0.1x to 0.13x

Commonwealth

Staghound

    Damage vs Infantry Armour reduced from 1.75x to 1.5x
    Damage vs Airborne Armour reduced from 1.0x to 0.75x
    Damage vs Heroic Armour reduced from 0.85x to 0.75x

    Suppressive Volley Fire now Suppresses the target
    Suppressive Volley Fire slow duration reduced from 20s to 5s

Incendiary Grenade

    Hotkey changed from "Y" to "N"

Kettenkrad

    Sight Range increased from 35 to 55
    No longer automatically moves out of the way of other vehicles

    Sight Range increased from 35 to 55
    Incendiary Trap trigger radius increase from 0.5 to 2

Bars have just met their match thanks to this patch Cheesy
G43 suppressive fire is going to be fun, my TD coy is going to have so much fun because most of my PGs roll with G43 Cheesy
Will this patch fuck the mod up btw? And if doesn't, maybe EiR will want to try and get some more people to join the mod because everyone will be returning to the game Cheesy

So BARs have been nerfed into oblivion? Or...? I use them in a 1-in-3 ration (1 BAR upgrd per 3 rifles), so they're not too common atm. Now they suck ass? Their only use might be for SF and that....blah, nvm. We'll see what happens rather then have me theory craft. Looks like allied LVs got the nerf bat (pzshreck = trollface) and axis got...better. Bleh, elaborate?

hurray now the crappy US mortars  can support US troops, though .30 cal is still kind of slow as it apparently needs people to help suppress axis. Still hoping that Lock N Loaded makes them more deadly. As thats the point of the doctrine.

G43. wow, thats going to be a tough one to counter.

Overall lots of fixes. That make sense. No more crawling around for 30 seconds after having a MG42 fire 3 bullets at me.

And PIAT nerf and yet no riflenade nerf?

.30 cal will aim faster now, so it will kill faster. It does what it was intended to do , dps.  mg42 is the suppressing one.

It's a buff and  nerf Tym. They can supress now but the slow time is reduced from 20s to 5s. That's 3 times.

i only posted those that pertained to eirr and had link to full notes. i think the next eirr patch should wait until after this just in case, i can wait.

If I'm reading this correctly, flamer units have been made more reliable? While flamer engies now get suppressed 50% more easily and crocs have longer range.

you're mostly right.

But there are fixes like the keep crawling after suppressed that are probably hardcoded so will also affect us.
maybe it's the same for ability usage while pinned.

oh, and those new maps are gonna show up in the EIR map list as well

ya but what people fail to realize is you cant go tit for tat in COH.

oh tank mg on axis is weaker vs sherman .50cal. Do people realize how much weaker the standard US inf is in this game?

Giving g43 suppress powers REALLY changes alot on the battlefield, and weakens one of the few perks the fragile US inf had.

Axis always had the suppressing mg42 , PE does not have an mg in vcoh, think of this as relic finaly gave an mg42 to PE but in mobile version - imo it's more of a tweak than a game breaking change, as allies always got suppressed by the mg42,  so you should be used already to the fact that rifle blobs get supressed.

So true Nug. I remember the patch where they removed the suppression from the PE HTs. COMPLETELY broke PE as a faction against the US in 1v1.
You simply couldn't do anything to stop them blobbing with bars because in early game, PE had NOTHING to make them pay for blobbing and by the time you could make them pay for blobbing (AC/PIV IST) the problem was long gone and you're on your way to losing.
So yeah, this is a VERY good change for PE vCoH wise.

Also, How does these changes effect EiR? Like, will all the skills change to what relic balanced? What about skills that things get that they shouldn't have (like Volks getting assault). Will it change to the patch?
