bazookas are fine, smgs are too expensive.

Their price will most likely be lowered in a future patch

Bazookas used to be around 50 Mun, we had to increase their price.
That being said, when the upgrade pool system comes into play, we will be able to better balance upgrades such as the bazooka and the panzerfaust. (Allowing them to be cheaper while still preventing them from getting spammed)

When will the new pool system come ?

Their price will most likely be lowered in a future patch

Why not now?

1. Price changes can be easily done through the launcher as stated before in previous posts. Unless you intend to make stat changes...
2. This will allow people to feel how Thompsons will work on the ground, rather than making a huge amount of balance changes at one go. It will allow more people to use rangers (if they indeed like rangers) and allow sufficient time for axis players to feel it out.
3. If implemented later when conditions change, imbalances may be present which is not readily picked up for myriad reasons.

Also, people state that bazookas are useful with TR doctrine... but units should be useful VANILLA without being buffed silly nilly.

To be honest, I've never ever lost a game because someone spammed bazookas. More than anything else, P4s, Tigers, KTs, Hetzers and even Inf HTs (Because assault grens w/ mp44s can kill rangers faster than rangers can kill inf hts with zooks) are not afraid of bazookas.

With regards to the pool system... Get the prices balanced first, than account for the pool system. Right now you only have 1 variable, which is the price. When you have pool system coming in, thats 2 variables to balance, along with other infantry weapons all around. How does that make it easier to balance???

The devs like to keep things in big updates so people can track them, unless its a serious problem that needs a hotfix. Don't worry the update is in 8 days it wont take long. And im just as excited as you are for it.

The thing with bazookas, is that you get two bazookas for less than 1 shrek. Those two bazooka's when they both hit and penetrate they deal a bit more damage than that single shrek hitting and penetrating. Especialy with the damage modifier vs the P4 and panther.

The problem is that those bazookas are too unreliable compared to a shrek. Even if they cost less for two you have the possibilities of dealing more damage than that higher costing weapon, but the chances of that are very very low with its lower acc, higher scatter, and lower penetration. Which I think is harder to balance.

Dark - for a side-by-side comparison of shreks vs bazookas with munitions being the commonality :

tbh fire up doesnt need any debuffs while active, it already has debuffs in those few seconds after use. Doesn't exhaustion, slow the unit down, and make reload and such slower?

Rangers should have access to BARs. That would get me to use them.

Yes. Personally i think it should be taken out or some debuff added to sprint.

I find it unfair that a ability for a doctrine unlock actually hurts you after it's used and while yes you have to buy sprint, it's only MP which is cheap in comparison (you still pay more in MP for rangers and airborne) and sprint seemingly lasts longer than fire up.

Just cuz vcoh has exhaustion, doesn't mean eirr has to, look at sprint, they took away the suppression resistance

It's a good idea, but what would happen to the thompsons? Rangers would just become stronger riflemen.

The solution was simply to decrease the ammo cost a bit. Which they have done. Rangers are now awesome.

Giving BARs to Rangers wouldn't really work with the focus of the unit. Riflemen are the units that have the capacity to fight at longer ranges, Rangers are meant to be tough elite infantry that can close the distance and fight close-quarters.

No, thats what their weapons dictate that they should do when upgraded with thompsons, Hawk.

I like bars for rangers. I also think that the upgrade system should be broke up - you should be able to get like 1 mp44, 1 bar, etc.
