Nope , it's a cheap man's g43. Same short range DPS of 8 without slowing.
You can rush unupgraded inf but vs bars or tommy rangers getting close means death.
i think he talks about the storm tactics G43 not the leader rifle the storm tactics G43 is half an mp44 mp44 still much better in role as assault rifle |

Not realy a half mp44 , g43 is not a burst weapon so it cannot be compared to mp44. |

Mp44 has 19 and g43 8 , with buffs from t4 g43 might have something like 10, but mp44 fires in burst firing alot of bullets in short time and g43 not that's why you cannot compare them both. G43 is a carbine and mp44 smg. |

thats DPS for to compare damage over time and even up different bursts
sure mp44 are much more deadly against single units like snipers that get killed instantly
but if a firefight lasts at least 2 bursts (1-1.5 seconds+ cooldown between) that will even up

If it's at close range mp44 will be always better no matter how much time it will take. |

DPS shows you how much damage each of those weapons will be dealing, on average, every single second for an infinity of time.
Basically, the G43 will have the advantage in the first second of the fight, because it delivers it's entire payload in one shot. Over time, however - the burst-firing STG44 will get ahead.

Keep in mind that point above the point of 1 (Perfect accuracy) the weapon starts becoming more effective against cover, smoke, veterancy and armor type.
So +15% moving accuracy for mp44s is pretty beast
